  1. Key words, character and freeroll. I would venture to say this the first post I have ever seen where someone wanted to analyze freeroll play. WOW. Thanx, now my pants are full of poop.
  2. DEEP. VERY DEEP. I'M GOING TO GO BANG MY HEAD AGAINST A WALL NOW.
  3. Oh and by the way- not one person has posted a good argument for being cheap when you just earned 7.5 million dollars for essentialy 6 days of work. Do you know why this is? There is no good argument, all you can say is this is what I would do but it is painfully clear who would be an ass and who would not. There are truly two different types of people in this- one would do something because he or she could, and one type does not really think in those terms. They think only of self. Sad, really sad, and truly idefensible. It is what it is.
  4. This is totally flawed "logic". So...if I tip the dealers...they will deal to me at the next tourny I lay 10 grand to play ? If I don't...guess what...they still do. Where is my "good situation"? What level of service can I expect in the future ? Oh...exactly the same. Answer the question. How has he created anything positive. ANYTHING? NO? Did not think so. Let's see your good situation- where is your good situation- ummmmmm...... YOU JUST WON 7.5 MILLION F ING DOLLARS!!!!! There has not been a good argument posted yet for being cheap- I say sound off. Everyone. Just type in cheap or not
  5. I have to totally disagree ... TIPS are not To Insure Proper Service ...Tips are a reward for excellent service. It is "your" (not you personally) job To Insure Proper Service. I typically tip very well because I typically get very good service. I ussually tip in the area of 20%, and they don't have to do much to get that. If I get bad service I tip less, rarely none at all, but if I am forced to tip that is all you get unless something extaordinary happens. The service Industry is out of contol at times with tips ... when the cashier at the mall food joint expects a tip things have gone to
  6. What are you talking about? The "beautiful people who made this happen for me"? All they did was organize a tournament (which they got paid handsomely for, by the way) and the dealers dealt the cards. If you won the tournament, how did THEY make that happen? You plopped down your $10k just like everyone else, and the casino got their cut to accomodate you at a table. YOU played your cards and won the tournament. It seems to me that you give the organizers and staff a little too much credit for what has happened there. You speak as if they did it for free. Creating goodwill and positive K

  8. Hey Abadabba since your so smart tell me one poker book that tells you to not tip. One. Just one. PLEASE. ONE. NO? Thought so. Idiot.
  9. The only problem I see with the comparison between the restaurant industry and poker dealers is that most of the servers at restaurants that I know only make alittle over 2 dollars an hour.......their wages are dependent on tips. I don't know how well dealers get paid in Vegas, but I have known a few dealers from up in the Chicago area, and I know they aren't making only 2 dollars an hour. I think the dealers are just becoming greedy in expecting tips for doing the job they are supposed to do. Also with the 3% already taken out, why would there be any need for an extra tip. As stated befor
  10. No. I expect twenty percent every table every time, and I deliver the service to deserve it. I have repeat guests that leave me well over that on a weekly basis, and I take care of them better than other guests- they get better attention and even better service then the great service I provide to everyone else. So, to anyone saying that they do not like it when dealers do not treat them the same as people who tip them you should expect nothing less than just that. Your making a point to say F.U. why should they not do the same? All that being said I already stated where I stood with this 100
  11. Yeah, I would expect something like this from someone who chooses to reside in ALBEUCUERQE.
  12. The reason tipping exists is because it is a known fact that service industry wages are pathetic and need to be bolstered. Really? T-o I-nsure P-roper S-ervice. Otherwise known as tips. Restaurant wages are not pathetic, the waitstaff is payed a wage and depending on what state it is anywhere from 2.00 to 7.00 an hour plus tips. If anybody actually read my very first post ever I never made a correlation between a restaurant tip and what should be done here. Never said that. All I said is what I WOULD HAVE DONE. Of course that stems from working for tips, because what goes around truly comes
  13. No- and by the way that is retarded. I said what I would do. I would be so happy that I won millions of dollars that I personally would spread some wealth to people that helped make it happen, because that is the manner in which I conduct myself.
  14. I have lurked on this website for months and never bothered to create a user account because I am lazy, but I really want to put my two cents in on this issue . I am a restaurant server, it is the only job I have ever really done, it pays well enough and allows me time to pursue other interests and still take care of buisness. However, the only noticeable income I receive is in tips, so it is a subject that tends to stir me up. Some observations- #1 At some point in this thread somebody observed that the winner is not from the U.S. and therefore may not be aware of tipping standards. This m
