  1. I'd definitely reraise to about 50k and see what happens. I guess it also depends on how the other players percieve you.. had you been fairly tight up until this point or stealing quite a few pots pf? Definitely fold that flop. Ace probably hit someone and you've only got set value and runner-runner possilbiities left.
  2. I think he has you beat more often that not. The check on the flop looks suspicious, since ace-high would have led out on the flop. More likely a pp higher than yours or even possibly A-6. Who knows though, you showed weakness on the river so he could have shoved with anything if he's an aggressive player.I probably would have thrown in a half-3/4 sized pot bet on the river, and folded if he came over the top.
  3. Fold preflop? 300 to call 1500 in pot... 5-to-1. I'm more than certain K 6 has that covered in that situation shorthanded.

When not in the blinds, he likes to minraise with any decent hand. When small blind check to him and hes isolated, he'll often minraise back about half the time to push the sb out. I ha
  5. There are 1 dollar and 1.50 dollar buy-in SNG's as well. Should be on the same screen, maybe wait a bit for those to load up since they take a few seconds to open after one has been filled. They play pretty much the same as the 3 dollar ones (maybe slightly fewer donks lol)
  6. Okay thanks for the replies. Not being defensive, I still don't feel that anyone has justified NOT checking the river. I'm not saying whether I'm right or wrong, just saying that taking down the pot with AA on the flop isn't imperative, since this flop is really good for me, save that he has the 9. If that is the case, there isn't a single card on the turn that would hurt me (unless he has a pkt pair and hits trips) but if he hits a pair I make a lot more on this hand.. I'm still not convinced the check wasn't a bad play.Anyways:First hand: I checked behind, he showed down ace high and I took
  7. My reason for checking the flop: If he has a 9 so be it, I'm not folding this hand unless runner runner makes a dangerous board and even then im not sure. There's not a single threatening card that could come on the turn that would make me lay down the hand, so I'd rather try and extract more value from the villain if he hits a pair on the turn. If he doesn't have the 9, it's about 90 - 95% i win this hand in my estimation. The reason I asked about the check is whether or not its better to try and help him catch up, or to extract value from all streets. As I said, if he has a 9 so be it, I'm g
  8. I think there's 5 possible hands considering its the 3.40's:1) pair of 9's, 6's, 4's with Ace kicker2) Flush Draw3) Two Overcards, he's betting because he suspects you have the same4) AA - QQ5) Trips.I think its more likely 1-3 than 4 or 5. Easy call.
  9. Sorry? I have pocket aces.. lolAnd agreed, the check on the flop was more or less for him to catch up. Wasn't expecting him to lead out but who knows lol.

  11. Regarding the limp, I'm usually a fairly tight player but will limp on the button every few hands with any two "playable" cards. Just mixing it up a bit.I agree about the turn, probably should have made it pot-sized. If I do make a bet on the river, I can't imagine I'm beat unless he slow-played hand that badly (which I guess is possible). I ended up checking behind, but I guess a related question would be if I bet out say 300 on the river and get raised, do you lay the hand down? (Or if its dependent on the value of the raise, whats the max you call?).

First table, heads up.Villain has been raising preflop about every 3 hands, fairly aggressive (very loose in raising standards, moderately tight in calling). 14. Usually I don't, but I think specific to this situation villain folds most of the time on a turn bet unless he had top pair. I figured that it was more likely he was on a flush/staight draw, had 2nd pair more than anything. Of course at the limit I'm playing it could mean anything lol
  15. Forgot to mention: I've seen villain attempt to steal pot numerous times. Was trying to induce a bet on the river since it was 2-handed

I don't have much of a read but villain seems to be fairly solid, but plays a moderately loose range of hands in late position (seen him limp with Q10os in cutoff, etc).
  18. Question: Do you take into consideration that anyone with a 4 flush has 9 and 9 outs? My thinking was that I'm likely beat by one hand, and that anyone who's behind is 2:1 to improve unless they had top pair/mid pp (quite likely)I folded btw, and after the hand came to the conclusion I played that way too passively and didn't take the side pot into consideration. Thanks for the replies.

  21. New table, no reads. Three things.1) Is it okay to limp PF? Usually I would throw in a standard raise, but I switched up for this particular hand. No reason other then it was a new table with a lot of stacks that could hurt me. Average stack at this point was around 5.5k. 2) Leadout/Reraise Turn? Was scared of two pair/maybe A10 with the bet, occured to me that it was a possible steal. 3) Call river?Looking back, I played the hand way too passively, but would you still call the river bet?Poker StarsNo Limit Holdem Tournament Blinds: t100/t2008 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: t3110UTG+1: t8193
