  1. I don't mind peeling one off here with TP. Raising is a mistake IMO because usually we're only getting called when behind and then we're inflating a pot with TP no kicker. We do have position so cold call and reevaluate turn. If he fires turn card then most likely abandon ship unless we improve.
  2. I just checked and it says it should arrive within 15 business days and the max limit is $5,000. Is this new? Before I coulda sworn there was no limit to check requests (in terms of max amount) and I thought expected time arrival was like a week.
  3. If you we're so confident shoulda pushed flop.As played, you just let a turn card peel off which could have killed you. He could easily have had KJ, JQ instead of KQ and then you look stupid.
  4. I just got a check shipped to me. It took about a week to get to my house and then my bank took 3 days to clear it. They didn't ask me for ID and it was for a pretty large amount. I think the ID request is based on how long you've been playing and if you have a successful history of transactions with them. So if you've been playing over a year regularly then I think they would be less likely to make it a hassle then if you've been playing on and off for a month or so.
  5. Lol @ saying your time is limited but having enough time to put in a 6 hour session.
  6. He didn't overbet, he reraised donkbet by SB.Or are you asking why should I be risking $105 in a $42 dollar pot?
  7. BB is 22/17/2.8 and a regular I believe while SB is relatively unknown but running at 21/13/2.2 over a hundred hands or so. 8. He'd have to be PLAYING a 3 first off, OOP. That'd be bad to begin.I like betting here because not only do we gain value from 22-77 but it also it a nice blocking bet and is slightly cheaper then check/calling what could be a pot bet to find out if we're up against a 5.
  9. His rockiness tells us he almost always has a set or flush. Since he's not folding either, just push. A lot of river cards kill action or can possibly put you behind.
  10. Tough situation. Would villian check QQ/KK with one diamond here but then call push? I like pushing simply because you aren't gonna get much value if another diamond spikes and a set/overpair wouldn't check turn so if you check turn, and river blanks, I think bluffing would be much harder and he would have to believe you have flush to lay any sort of hand down. Also, in most situations he got frisky here with a weakish hand and checking turn gives him and opportunity to bluff what could be a weaker hand on river. I don't think villian can be 4 betting legitimate hands that much here, as the od
  11. Keep the day job.Position=everything.Not that I really think you have a nice big bankroll of $100,000 even to begin with and are making plays like that.... PS. For future reference, half the draws you could be trying to represent on turn OOP could improve his hand. People bet draws. Just sayin'Also for the original hand, this is a very easy call.
  12. QQ is worth a LOT vs a LAG at 6 max. I don't think it is a HUGE cooler by any means but against a LAG I'm saying it is harder for me to lay down on that dry flop. I was simply defending people criticizing this guy for going broke with QQ on Jxx board against LAG who 3 bet. Yes we're semi deep with 140BB but once again, more money in preflop means less play postflop. Even if he didn't push postflop he HAS to throw in a raise or call and face a bigger turn bet. Once he does either of these things there is so much money in the pot it is almost incorrect to fold at this point. Also, at 5/10 I'm mor
  13. If he reraises to 9 he either is playing at you or he likes his hand. Very read dependant but it is hard to get villians who play hands like 77+ like this to lay down at these limits so I think a 3rd reraise is spew unless you have a read.
  14. I value bet but this is a very light value bet. There is only one weaker queen I expect a call from (KQ) because I dont think he is raising JQ UTG. AT and JJ also look you up. Nonetheless, he has done nothing to indicate you are behind. VALUETOWN.
  15. I dont advocate pushing like opponent did but if you raise QQ and are 3 bet by LAG player, this is the flop you are hoping for. I probably stack off here to LAG btw.If you're calling this 3 bet with QQ and avoiding getting involved on this board against a LAG then you're going to get pushed around a bit at the higher limits. This isn't full ring.
  16. I like betting turn. If you think a bit and bet like 1/2 or 1/3 pot on turn he'll prolly misinterpret it as weakness and tag along with a smaller flush or other hands.Id bet about half pot on river. An overbet makes no sense because you would gladly check down any hand worth anything here to try and showdown and the only thing you would overbet here that makes sense is absolute air. Since you are likely to have caught a piece of flop or at least have a pair, it makes no sense to try and bluff because in reality you would check this down. An overbet just looks like exactly what it is, the nuts

  18. I think you basically answered your own question here. He isn't a nit, you are LAG, and obviously your 3 bet range is probably kind of large. Also, 1.4 AF is kinda nittish actually. Most aggressive players run at at least 2-3 for this stat. You got what he wanted, he fastplayed it back at you, now just call. For some reason it sounds like you didn't get the result you wanted but calling is +EV in the long run here.
  19. Villian is almost never raising a 3 here UTG and then calling a 3 bet with it.
  20. What is your image? If we fold this frequently because villian is a regular we're probably heading down a path of weak/tight because these are the kind of flops we hope for when we 3 bet KK.I don't think he has JJ because I think he would cold call or reraise a normal amount usually. This is AA sometimes but can easily be QQ or something like AQhh. I think your image and villian's image is very important here. He is playing this a lot like bad players normally play a flush draw. I think based on how much is in the pot a call is profitable in the long run unless villian is nittish.
  21. Turn was a rag 3.And I discount hands like 57s and 56s because he raised UTG and seems like a solid player. Most of the time people won't raise these hands UTG.
  22. Haven't read replies but this spot is very tough. If you call and a spade peels then Dan is going to be aware that a flush is almost always in your range and you might not win much off him. However, even worse, if a spade peels a flush is ALSO in his range and if if a lot of money gets put in then he could very well have you killed. You have 8 clean outs to the nuts, and if you hit one of them then you will likely be making a lot of money because it's more disguised and it is much more unlikely Dan has same straight draw.Since there's not much behind the donk I think I can see laying this down
  23. His stats are very LAG and it seems like he is playing a crash and burn game. Call river and note that he likes to float. If he has any kind of 5 then just 3 bet him regularly because obviously he is calling with weak hands.
