Raising 84o p-flop makes me want to puke. No matter how good you think your postflop play is.LAGs don't raise 84o. Noone does.

I would raise just cause BB cold calling screams a scared straight.However, if I am in BB's shoes and I have nut flush or boat I like calling because if he reraises, Zach has to have a monster to call where as if he cold calls he usually entices a call from last player due to great pot odds and a wet board which he probably has a piece of..I just don't think BB is capable of calling any sort of monster here, and would almost always reraise. I don't mind this hand one way or the other.

Fold. We have no fold equity in this spot so we know we'll be depending on our flush draw and in some instances he will have us dominated with a higher flush draw.

It's 44, 99 sometimes and a draw/TP much more. Call with so much invested.

I'm pushing since we essentially only have a pot bet left anyways. If we don't push here we have to call most non heart rivers anyways and since the pot size is basically the rest of our stack, he'll likely be putting us all in anyways with hands we are behind to, such as AQ and 99, meaning the result is the same as pushing the turn. Also if we check and a heart peels then we almost have to fold to any bet when he could be donking it up with a hand like JJ/KK and really thinks he is value betting. If pot wasn't 3 bet or we were deeper I check and plan on check/calling most rivers.

Shoving this river is so bad. What do we beat? Villain raised preflop. Other then K10, we beat no other K's. Check and reevaluate. There isn't much value to be gained from shoving unless he makes retarded hero call with AQ or something. You need to try getting more money in on turn.As played, you're basically playing to win a small/medium sized pot when you should trying to be getting all-in here at some point.Also, raising 1/3 of your hands is eventually going to catch up with you. That's like beyond LAG.

Usually not people who have been raising 1% of their hands.I'm on the fence with this one. If villian was like 15/1 then I lean towards fold because he is uber tight all around but this guy sees 85% of flops which means he is a donkey. Donkeys do stupid things so this makes me lean towards a call.Nonetheless the most important stat is his raise percentage of 1. I think it is important to know how many hands this stat is over though because if it was over 500 hands it would be more reliable obviously then over, say, 100 hands.I don't know much about these stakes or this player... but people love to push huge with small to medium pairs, especially bad players trying to save themselves from having to think about overcards hitting post flop. -

Wow, 1% raise percentage is a bit insane. I probably call just because villain is generally a moron and morons do stupid things. If these PT stats are over an extended amount of hands (ie, a few hundred) then I seriously think about folding. We don't have that much invested.Also, just noticed it is full ring which makes the argument a little stronger for folding. Hmmm.

The fact we underrepped our hand can't be underestimated and can be a huge factor in whether to call or fold. If we underrep our hand villain is much more likely to bluff or stab or fire thinking he is value betting when in fact we have him beat. On given hand I think it isn't a call because we underrepped, rather because of given villain and a flush draw which showed up on turn.This is pretty much NEVER a reason to call. Big deal if we've underrepped our hand? -
1.) Because villain might be doing this with a hand like AK or an underpair that probably isn't going to invest any more money unless they spike their ace/2 outer and then pull ahead of us, so checking just gives a free card.2.) Villain might have a hand like JJ or QQ and there are a variety of cards which may come on the river scaring villain and preventing us from making money.Ok this is where I might be nitty and need to fix this is my game:Why not just use our position and check behind. This is an obv WA/WB situation and we've got position on the villain. If we check behind we save money when we're beat and possibly gain a bluff/value bet w/ an inferior hand on the river.The pot already has over 1k in the middle...Thoughts? -
Eh. Most solid players don't limp UTG 6 max.I see donkeys do this with AA all the time. I know you have no read on him though.I probably felt it since you have the 4 making 44 less likely and you're only 100 bbs deep. But I'd never felt this against a solid player.Mark -
This is a call. After you invested almost 1/4th your stack this is a very easy call I think. You have a blocker to 44 and most people raise 88 6 handed. This is a combo draw so many times.

Wow this is a SICK spot.3 bet this preflop for sure. I think not 3 betting when you guys are so deep is a big mistake. As for hand, wow. This is a very sick spot. Board is rainbow and only hands I can see him doing this with that we beat is some sort of combo draw he picked up on turn, like KQss or 45ss or some other flush draw. I really don't like playing AQo like this at all. Maybe KK. There is always remote possibility he is doing this with air because he thinks you floated flop or are weak. Ugh this spot is nastttyyyy. What are his PT numbers and what is your image?Also, for further emphasis, I really really like 3 betting this p-flop since we''re so deep.

Regardless of exposed ace I think we should still be folding flop. When you're calling on the flop hoping to pick up a draw on the turn or hit a two outer then things usually just don't work out. As played, I'd have to run numbers to decide whether folding or pushing is correct. You're behind and usually down to 8 outs and there are a lot of redraws and a 8 or K of spades may be a dirty out. This just isn't a good situation to be in. Hitting a J probably isn't good either.

Villain can't raise bluff river in first hand very effectively because with his shortstack t would essentially be a min reraise. I don't mind first hand that much. It extracts value from weaker Qs and middle PPs and since villain isn't deep he isn't going to push you off anything with your river blocking bet.2nd hand, bet somewhere. Fold river. I can tell you called but I don't think your good enough to call here. We have no info here to work on so it would just be a blind call basically.Only read hand 1 so far. I pretty much don't like anything you said about checking after 3 betting OOP preflop. I almost 100% throw a C-bet out there heads up. You already inflated the pot with your 3 bet, you have control and should keep it. If people are more likely to show you the true strength of their hand after 3 betting why not bet the flop and take it down when they didn't connect with top pair or better?As played the turn bet is fine but I don't like the river bet. You basically gave Villain 3 shots to win this pot on each street and he failed to take it on any. If I'm Villain I'm calling your river bet with all kings and either raising or folding with anything worse, with the exception of possibly just calling with a Q. -
Villains like this are hardest to play against because they make idiotic plays like this which make no sense. That's why we can't lay down hands against them. He should be check/calling river if he thinks his hand is good. He just turned his 99 into a bluff and the only hands which call river are ones which beat him. But I bet if we ask him if it was a bluff he probably doesn't think it is.Results: mtdesmoines is correct. Villain had 99. Crazy play on his part. In my mind, I was either going to see a full house or a busted flush draw. I still don't know if I like my call on my river though, but the call on the turn is fine.
