I agree that these stakes tend to bring out the weak/loose players but noone is gonna call an all-in over 25 bucks unless they have a premium hand. Saying that, the OP was the last to act in the BB, he had about 48 dollars, and noone has raised before him. If he pushes, noones calling unless they cold-called with KK or something else in early position in anticipation of a raise. He would make 2.50 and that would be the end of story. If you push with AA pre-flop with no raisers, it will be folded around to you most of the time. IMHO, getting no callers pre-flop with Aces, is a big waste.There are situations when you want to push and some where you dont. You could push if: -There has been at least 1 or 2 raises before you.-You are shortstacked (15 or less at this limit sounds about right)-You are in late position and there has already been a bunch of callers-The table is very loose These are the only ways you're getting called. This is a strange play indeed, I would flat call, if you reraise I doubt he's folding, as he probably expects you to reraise seeing that you've been betting on every street. He probably led with the intention of reaising you after you reraised him. He could have made a set on the flop, and a boat on the river. The only possible hand that you have beat is Ace-Rag. Since he's so unorthodox, he might have even limped with AK, and have you beat. Although it's unlikely he has a 4, he could have made a set on the flop for the boat on the river.

I dont think I would bet the river. With so many posibilities and that Ace. You probably have a busted flush/straight draw beat as one of your opponents probably holds the K but either one could hace Ace-rag, which means theyre sticking around. So, basically, youre not getting any extra money from busted draws and you're getting called by anyone who holds an ace.

If the opponent really had a 5 or pocket 2's I suspect he would try to slowplay. Either of those situations means a high pocket pair would be drawing slim and why wouldn't he want to let you bet into him on the turn and river? He might reason that "if my opponent does have a pocket pair, he's not going to let it go so why don't we just get all the money in the pot now?" but by reraising he might be scaring off a possible bluff by AK or AQ when cold-calling might get a potential bluffer to keep firing away.It's possible he put you on AK or AQ and thinks you're making a bet to try to win the pot

Haha my friend pulled something as equally insane on me just 10 hours ago. Were 4 handed and NL and I picked up kings. Raise up to 3 bucks pre-flop, which seems like a lot(6XBB) but everyone is playing like a maniac and I get 2 callers. I disagree with the bolded statements.- No lower pocket pair is capping preflop. Nothing below TT is unless the guy is an absolute maniac. No reason to be worried about a set.- I'm about 95% sure he has him beat (it was posted, so that takes away 5%).- Don't be result-oriented. I wouldnt lay it down, you probably have the best hand. I'd imagine he could have a lower set. He didnt participate in any pre-flop raising, so I doubt he'd want to leave queens that open to being beat. His limp in pre-flop probably indicates a lower set when he bet the flop. Maybe J9 or two pair but I doubt it.

With him raising and capping pre-flop in middle position, it's highly unlikely he's got the 5 for the straight, so I'm guessing he might have a lower pocket pair.
