If I wasn't too lazy to create an account at 2+2 I would tell him to make a few million in play money (since he is soo good) then sell that on ebay

Especially in seat #1 right next to the muck pile. Some people flick their cards so hard and aimlessly it's almost like they are trying to take out your cards.Don't forget to protect your cards. -
Is $200 over 3 weeks more than you can make while playing? If not then it's -EV and you shouldn't take the bet

A table with 7 donks is hair-pullingly-frustrating, but profitable if you tighten up and play more hands that are good in multiway pots (ie suited connectors).Or you can find a table with fewer donks but more average/tight players and hope to play a lot of pots with a donk heads up by 3 betting often

That's the only one I can think of off the top of my head. There's a site out there that has a list of sites/casinos that give free money to play with. Pokerlistings.com or something I think?Royal Vegas gives you the 10 dollars for free -
There seems to be some confusion still. Here's what I've done:- Made an Neteller account in CDN $ and linked it to a CDN $ bank account- Brought money into my neteller account, then to a poker room (got dinged a few % on top of the exchange rate, since it was CDN$->US$)- Did some reading and found out I should have a US$ Neteller account. I call up Neteller and get a real prick support guy, but eventually I get to make a new Neteller account and get it linked to my CDN bank account again.- Made a zillion transactions in and out of neteller (all in US$, no fees) over the last 6 months or so.Now I _could_ just put my money into Neteller and cash out to my CDN$ bank account easily, but I would lose the 2-4% (I'm really not sure how much it is, I haven't paid any fee since my first transaction) that neteller charges for the currency exchange.I knew Neteller didn't allow Canadians to sign up a US$ bank account, so I assumed they wouldn't send a Canadian a cheque in US$ either. Dubey says they will send a cheque for $3, so I will need to look into that.

Instant Bankroll is the way to go. There are also a few other sites out there that will give you a free $10 just for signing up.

Yeah I am talking about exchange rate fees. My first neteller account was in CDN$ but after the first transaction I realized I got charged for the currency conversion so I went through their support to make a new NT account in US$.But even if I transfer money from my US$ NT account to my CDN$ bank account I will get dinged the 4.9% (or whatever it is they charge) for doing the conversion.I am trying to avoid paying any extra fees for turning my electronic US dollars into cold, hard Canadian bills
-
Typically you get charged more than just the conversion rate when putting money into an account with a different type of funds. For example, if I have $100 US and put it into a Canadian $ bank account while the exchange rate is 1.20, I may only get $115 (if it's a 5% fee) or so instead of the full $120.Not much when the amount is small, but on over a thousand dollars it is worth finding a better method that can save you a good amount of money.

Neteller will send you a cheque in US$ for just $3? That would be perfect.I usually just withdraw to neteller and then get a cheque sent from neteller. I usually recieve my cheque within a week. they only charge 3 dollars.
That's okay, your avatar makes up for it. Calvin and Hobbes is awesome.. So good, in fact, that my newspaper dropped one of its new comics to start running old C&H comics just a few weeks agoThe title of your thread sounds like the set up to a pretty funny joke. If i were more clever i would come up with a punch line. Damn my lack of imagination. -
I've accumulated enough of a bankroll now that I'd like to cash a large portion of it out and I'd really like to get around paying Neteller's (or anyone's) conversion fees. But it seems every poker room I have tried to cash out of will only let you cash out by cheque after your original deposit amounts are sent back to neteller. What I'd like to do is find a way to get my money into a US$ bank account (from my bank I won't be charged any fees to keep a US$ account or to transfer money between it and my other accounts), either by cheque or deposit of some sort. But I've heard that if you are Canadian, Neteller won't let you deposit your funds directly into a US$ bank account.Any thoughts?

I had a dream a while ago that I was in a major tournament, got dealt KK in late position against a very aggressive guy in the BB. I raised and he came over the top for about 1/3 of his chips. I smooth call planning to set him all in on the flop.Flop comes K-x-x and he goes all in, I call and he flips over aces, I go to flip over my top set but see that my cards are gone. I woke up a little bit disturbed and decided to take a break from poker for a few days.

Hand at fulltilt, I raise a limper from the SB with AK and he calls. I bet each street on a board of K9239 and he raises me on the river. I'm sure I'm beat but I have to call to see it.Dealer: MATTZOMB has 15 seconds left to actDealer: hubbs24 shows a full house, Nines full of ThreesDealer: hubbs24 wins the pot ($37) with a full house, Nines full of ThreesMATTZOMB: wow nhDealer: Hand #232392504hubbs24: thnxhubbs24: luckyMATTZOMB: veryhubbs24: what did you have?Dealer: hubbs24 has 15 seconds left to actMATTZOMB: not nearly as good as thatMATTZOMB: 93.. lolMATTZOMB: that is amazingSlickMeat: it was suited thoughMATTZOMB: it was sooootedhubbs24: that's the only reason i called This made me sad. Online .5/1 is very close to live 2/4-3/6 (or whatever the lowest limit offered is) at the casino. From what I've seen live, people are quite a bit looser there than online at .5/1 or 1/2 limit. Be prepared to crush it, but not without the roller coaster ride of variance.SSHE is on my passenger's seat in my car all dog-eared.Right now I'm a winning .5/1 player. I know it's a big step up, but I have a decent idea of the mechanics of limit, pot odds, counting outs...and a few thousand hands online practice. I know it's not much...but there's money to be won. -
I'm pretty busy with school, but I might find some time to play as long as they're (fairly) low stakes

Can't find a game on stars? I log in and within a couple minutes I am usually playing or first in line at 2 or 3 tables that I want to play at (2/4 or 3/6 limit, or .25 PLO). UB on the other hand I end up waiting 5-10 minutes to finally get up to 3 tabling 2/4 limit since there's often only 3-4 tables going in total.
-
Like, omg, this one time on UB I was all in with KQ against J6 and the flop came, like, T92 so this guy had only 3 outs and guess what he hit on the river, a 6!! UB is sooo totally rigged, I'd complain about losing money but it was a freeroll

Yeah that is a scam. My friend (who isn't even registered on Ebay) got something like that about a week ago.
-
Hexag1 beat me to it.. I mean really, would you rather try to grind it out at the big game against the top pros hoping to make 0.1BB/100 hands (AND experience huge variance), or come online and shoot fish in a barrel at four 100/200 tables online?

Most sites your rakeback essentially gets put on hold while you are clearing a bonus for the site. Some exceptions are with Absolute and Ultimate Bet through PSO, where you still earn rakeback (though at a slightly lower rate than usual) while clearing a bonus. I'm loving my rakeback program on UB right now, especially with their frequent reload bonuses.Use PSO referral "matthewmoney" if you decide to go with that, thanks

Pokerstars always has a lot of PLO games going, they're probably a bit tougher than the Party ones though.

I started with $100, playing PL Omaha (.01/.02) and some NL Hold'em ring games/sit n goes. Lost all that over the course of a few months (was doing really well in PLO .10/.25, then had a 3-day tilt and lost it all). Then I started a new BR a few months later with $200, learned limit and started at the .25/.50 tables and have since moved up to 2/4 and 3/6 (whatever is available) with about $5000. Looking at my PT stats, I'd say a good half of my BR has come from semi-whoring deposit and rakeback bonuses. That's in addition to all my PSO points/gifts (10 books, a poker table, some dvd's and an mp3 player).

I had a lot of up and downs near $2000, mostly because I was bouncing around from site to site bonus clearing. For some reason whenever I switch to a site I haven't plaed (or haven't played in a while) I usually have a losing session or two before I find my groove again. Except at prima where I am still way in the red at limit (though now my NL game on there has been keeping me afloat).I imagine you are strickly playing at one site if you aren't BWing, if so, just keep at it and eventually you'll hit your goal.
