I played in the $1,000+100 event at the Canadian Open Poker Championship in Calgary on the weekend.I made the 8-hour drive after work on Friday and arrived in Calgary at 3:00am. The tournament was scheduled to have 3 different start times at 3 casinos to accommodate the entries. I started at the first casino at noon and we only had 50 entries. Dennis Phillips was at my table and Gavin Smith was at the one next to it.Pretty uneventful first half of the tournament, stayed above average stack and made a few moves on Phillips. I've played with the same group of guys for almost 7 seasons. Our team is in a division for players that haven't played before (or for a long tome), I played when I was younger (6-12 years old). Our team sucked at first, I was one of maybe 3 or 4 players that had any hockey sense and could skate. The first few seasons we sucked pretty bad but still managed to make it to the finals.Our team had a goalie who had to have been at least 60 years old and we got rid of him in the third season.Over the years everyone has improved and all the teams are competitive, we had 9 teams in our division last y

I'm with Jeff on this one, no to Little Buddha, Lavo and cabana. But thanks Vold for taking care of that, I really wish I could make it out this year. Flights were more money this year and there hasn't been many seat sales from here.

I did this a few months ago - I went into the application settings on my account and deleted all the games and blocked them. Also, if anyone posts something about MafiaWars or Farmville, I block that from my news feed. My Facebook is a lot nicer to read without all that crap and I don't have the urge to go into CafeWorld.But I think in some of the apps if you re-activate them, you start in the same spot.I have also blocked the "Vegas" app from my life until I get things built around the house - fence, driveway, sprinklers, etc.I have one quote for my fence, driveway and sprinklers - over $30k.
