Ummmm, isn't that EXACTLY why softplaying is NOT allowed? Pre before the flop to build a pot and narrow the field for one person with the friend being willing to check or fold out to give the pot to the other? I can't imagine why the floor let that happen.As for what you can do.... take a table change.

Guess it's time for me to start looking up more TIVO info. I was willing to just use a HD converter box on my two other sets and deal with that, but the whole Tivo being ditched by Comcast and DTV is going to make that a pain. I really don't want to give on Tivo, so if there is a hack coming I would like to know more about that too. I will say that once you make the adjustments to the new DTV DVR it really doesn't suck that much.

CHIT CHIT CHIT... I just realized that if this is the case, then I too will be getting the upgrade letter. The box we replaced (moved to a room with a non HD TV) was our old DTV TIVO. I assumed that we would be able to continue to use it but that is just would never show HD. Hmmph. Guess I'm gonna be calling DTV today to see WTF. I had to call them anyway because the DVR we got from them has a static sound on HBO channels. I have been with DTV since the beginning also, and bought Tivo the month it came out. I feel your pain. Total BSA few months ago we decided to upgrade to HD and I called and was told that I could not get the HD HR20-700 DVR unless I paid the 300. 00 I asked to speak to someone else and I politely stated that I have been with them forever, and that I really hoped to stay with them but would not pay the 300.00 --- I also added that my hubby had been pushing me to go to cable so that we could continue to use TIVO (WHICH IS NOT AVALABLE IN HD FOR DTV only for Cable connections). I'd stay away from the rebuys unless u have the balls to keep pushing and rebuying. If you are playing one that is not for a satellite then re buy right away and play super tight agg until the re-buy is over. Do have the double rebuy on if you need it early, and take the add on if you think you have enough chips to get to the money. The tourney should mellow out a bit after the add on. The problem with the above strategy is that you will not make BIG money in ANY re buy unless you are hyper agg and catch cards early.

Heya Fintz! Same thing for me this morning. I did get back in a few minutes ago then the game froze. Server issues?!!!

I have also noticed the grouping of cards from shufflers. My thought was that it really depends still on the dealer to mix the cards well after each hand... therefore you do get shifts in where the grouped cards come out...I don't know how much of this I actually believe but I do know that more of the jackpot winners in my casino come off of auto shuffle tables. Not just faster because of the speed either.
