Last week end I held a tourney and this hand came up. All 3 players flopped a set on the flop. Set of 4s, set of 7s and a set of 9s. 9s held up. My question is what are the odds of this happening.? Everyone in the room was shocked.

Every Tuesday night in a small Northern Ontario town they hold a Canadian Poker League tourney, in a local bar. My friends asked me to go with them severqal times, but said no, because it was not for real money. I desided to go and check it out and to have fun. Just your basic freeroll with about 70 people in the room. You start with 10000 in chip and get a knock out chip or an allin chip. By the time the blinds were 400-800 I was in the top 5 with 45000 in chips. One guy and I were busting people play garbage hands. I had 4 knock out chips and he had 6. Depending on the size of the MMT you really don't stay at one table long enough to "get to know the players" , because you get moved around when they reduced tables. I allways have at least 3 ring cash games going and a tourney going. I just play the cards at the tourney till it gets down to the bubble or last 3 tables. Depending on the buyin or what the final table pays out, I will sit out at the ring games to kill the final table.

Yess I have seen the Ept for 2 seasons. Sort of a WTP clone,,,funny guy ,analyst guy and hot chick. A well done show but Duthie doesn't look comfortable doing it. Second season he does better but still looks like he is scared of the camrea. What I like about it is there is no over the top production on the show. No flashing lights or 50 women carrying the prizepool dought to the table. Just poker!!!

At least once a week our family has a poker night. My daughter is 9 and my son is 12. Just to make things fun I put $5 into the pot for the winner. They learn very fast that is doesn't pay to chase or play rags. It all started for me late May. The wife plays on a game site that has limit holdem. She didn't want to play it to earn her badge, so she asked me. Played it and earned her badge. Couple of days later she mentioned it to her friends that i played holdem and we desided to get a home game going. Now poker is like an addition for us both. It kind of saved our relationship, since we didn't do much together as a couple. I play online more than her, but when there is poker on tv,its cuddle time.
