I also dont like getting pot comitted with JJ. If the flop come K 2 3 Im almost positive one of them hits the K and if they did and I push I'm done. I think the standard raise to 3600 is the right one but I'll try to raise more and see what happens.

alright one hand i had was J J with 7 players left and i was on the button. With blinds at 600/1200 with the avg stack at about 20,000 and I had 24,000. One caller came in from one seat before me and I raised it up to 3600. I got called by the bb and player before me. The flop came down 10 2 9 . It came check check to me and I bet out 5000 hoping to take the pot there. I got two calls and was dumbfounded. The turn came 3 and they both checked it to me. Ok every two weeks or so we have a home game where we play nl hold em with 16 people with 10k starting chips and blinds start 50/100 and go up every 1/2 hour. Now the early stages are easy for me because I just play a lot of hands and trap all the donkeys for their money and I usualy come to the final table with 20k. Now comes my problem. The final 9 players are usually consisted of 7 donkeys and then theres me, and my really conservatively aggressive friend (who always ends up drawing the seat to my left which pisses me off). Nonetheless, I always seem to hit a roadblock at the final tab

Pens did a good job in signing a few of the Flyer's broken down fordwards. The signing of Crosby is huge, I admit, but its his first year. The Pens arent the top notch team like the Flyers are.

Yeah I know many pros like to play more aggressive and sometimes I do, but there were a few aggressive players and I couldnt keep up with them. My hands were really sucking and every raise I made was getting called and/or re-raised.

Ok so here it is. About an hour into a torunament, everyone started with 10k in chips and im down to 7000. Blinds 200/400 so i started playing a little more conservative. First off, its Clarke, but, fact being you hate the Flyers, Ill let it slide. Everyone attacks the Flyers goaltending, but Esche is a very capable goalie and Nittymaki is the future goalie who should have a breakout season this year or next year if he gets a shot. I didnt know much about Rathje, but I do like his size and ability. With the new rules in place, the Flyesr d should be one of the best in the league.

I believe stud hi/lo is a very profitable game if you get in with suckers. They stay in trying to get high almost all the time which ends up losing them a lot of pots.

Hextall was a great goalie and since we found Esche a year or 2 ago, we have never had a stand up goalie like #27. And yes his number should be retired.

Was this on pacific poker? Because you can lose a monstrous stack in those rooms because it seems they are designed to let the bad players win.

K8 isnt a good hand heads up? With no raise preflop you have to figure that you have best hand unless u catch a tell saying otherwise. And still, a crap flop like that is great for the K8. And you're right, it is poker. But poker these days is all luck anyway because of the number of ameturs who ruin the game. It's becoming a total joke. The pros will never be as powerful as before because everyone is out to get them and will stay in with really bad hands in order to fish them out.

Well folks, lets just say I have now seen everything. Lets play this hand from the beginning. 8 handed game with blinds at 200/400, Player A has 10,000 and Player B has 7,000. Everyone folds to the button, Player A, who calls the bb with 10 7 suited of spades. The sb folds and the bb, Player B, checks with Q2 suited of spades. The flop comes 846 with the 8 and 6 being spades. Both have flush draw. Player B bets 1k and gets called. Turn is an A of diamonds, and player B takes another stab with 2,000 which gets called again. River comes 3 of diamonds giving both players nothing. the Q2
