hey everyone, just popping in real quick to say that i got a random virus message from allie on MSN, with the message saying something like sorry about earlier, my computer messed up, here's the picture...i don't have her number so if anyone wants to call her and let her know something is screwy, please do.

so how's everything been in here lately?
-
i've been around...considered coming back around for the gator games but thought i'd be wise not to step into a firing squad. while i'm disappointed they lost against LSU, it wasn't exactly unexpected.

the hours would be the same as they are now...i'd love it if i didn't have to quit my current job for it, but they don't allow that. yeah, harrah's would be a good way to get into a caesars, harrah's, or rio, but still...it's not a guarantee for anything.

shut it...everyone i work with is a cowboys fan...not good times for me monday.life is good...still working hard at my job...got thrown a curveball today...randomly got called for an audition down at bill's on the strip...went there and bombed the audition but still got the job. so now i have to decide whether or not to stay where i'm comfortable and where i'm absolutely loved, or move to the harrah's property that makes about the same but that will be a new environment and will probably be benefitless, at least for the first 90 days.

hola everybody. how's it going?

hey everybody...been quite a while since i've stumbled in here, just figured i'd come in and give a little life update for us...it took a few months of busting my tail at work, but as of last week, i'm officially a full time craps dealer. heard from a lot of people that i'm one of the quickest to pick up the game, that i'm better than people that have dealt it for years. also picked up some minor connections around town, and from what a lot of people have said, i could/should have a job somewhere on the strip by the end of the year, possibly at the palazzo, the sister tower of the venetian,

looooove the 'ifs' that follow the game.if teddy ginn doesn't get assraped by his teammates after the opening kickoff, if thad matta doesn't decide to leave two of the best shooters in the country open repeatedly, if OSU's guys could get an uncontested 3...

bahaha, yeah...i've just been having a pretty miserable couple weeks and didn't want to drag it in here, so i was waiting for something positive to bring in here.

so how bout them gators?

yeah, we definitely have the population and money to support a big league team, but i somewhat disagree with the negative being the locals with the messed up work schedules. i think that helps things out, because the people with money will still buy the season tickets, while the random wednesday evening games will gain attendance because of people with the random wednesday off. there are enough of us casino workers with the monday and tuesday off, or the wednesday thursday, that would go to home games then, to where we could fill the stadium night in and night out. tourists would just be ic

who said i was picking up traffic?

while there would be some nostalgia there, with the pacers being my first ever pro sporting event (home playoff game vs the hawks something like 10 years ago, had awesome seats), i'd prefer to get a team that may win something besides the "most players simultaneously suspended for off-court violations" title in the near future

while i'm sad not to see the pens move here (i'd go to every game i could possibly go to, and that'd quite easily get me into hockey), i'm glad to see them stay in pittsburgh, especially when they'll have a cup there within the next few years with their incredible core of young talent.local talk radio harps all the time that we need a professional team...i'm still seeing the NBA move here first, although the NHL would probably do better. our IHL (i think IHL) team sells out its games for the most part as far as i know, and is a huge hit here among the locals. i think the locals would thrive
