Event #55 World Championship No-limit Texas Hold'em $10,000

I'm wondering if the QT hand in the FT of the shootout had an affect in DN making this call. Seems strange he would call off all his money with a pair and gutterball. Only beat a draw. Anyone know how much DN had left in his stack? Was he pot stuck? -

SSIIDN wrote the chapter. This is my first time saying it "Daniel will make top 3" in this tourney. Just a hunch, I really think he'll do well here. DN vs Juanda headsup in the final. lol.I REALLY mean it. (*_*) -

Anthony, good luck in the upcoming events dude. You're burning up the buy ins playing the WSOP. Go practice more at the Venetian double stacks. Seeing your HH's it's obvious you don't have the game. Your thinking process is also way off IMO. Play more ABC, you are getting into big pots with very marginal hands.I hope to see more color in your personality. The interviews and your presence seems real boring. Sorry for being harsh, being that I'm Asian I'd like to see you do well. Don't be a typical nerdy Asian kid, talk more to some of DN's friends if you get a chance. Listen to their w -
Better luck next time Anthony. From the hands you posted, it seems like you are playing alot of big pots with marginal hands. Also calling raises with double gap connectors. If you are good enough to play those hands and able to get away with then its cool. Good luck!

For Canadians, is Western Union the best way to get money in and out?Haven't touched my online balance since the Neteller debacle.

Easily! for 100k almost anyone can. For Mike though... hmm... 100k might not see that much to him.

Players like Huck Seed llike to look at the bottom left corner first and squeezing. No more squeezing now.Mind boggling how stupid these supposedly great business men are.

A sucker is born every minute. Pay the man his money.I used to play pool and hustle a lot. If you see a mark, you take it down. If you don’t, another shark will. Happens every day in pool halls, Wall Street, casinos etc…This was set up nicely and Ivey was going through the motions. Ram had no chance, he continued because of stupidity, mad tilt and stubbornness. Ivey just showed that he’s a classless poker celebrity and really doesn’t care how he’s being portrayed. Hey, who gives a s.h.it “all about getting paid biatch!” Ivey “the hustler” pwned Ram but may have burned a lot of bridges.

That hand wasn't that difficult. Pretty easy to put the kid on a set there. The impressive hands are when he floats and takes the pot on the turn with nothing. Couple good hands on Poker at the Plaza show, he played one real good against Gavin. Gavin put out a blocker on the turn and DN read him perfect as semi weak, popped it and took it down. That was pure poker.

Bax was there too, so actually 3 pro's!I agree partially with your statement but too many pro's can be too much also. You notice how Bax was quitely sitting there and not interrupting in the early segments. Some guys just can't shut up and love to hog the mic. I think the show could work even with just the one pro and guest. NOT ALL but some of the early shows with only Matusow were entertaining also.I think the hard part would be actually finding a recognized pro who is willing to give up their time and do it consistently. DN would be great but no way he'll do it at every tournament stop

Nope. Only a fraction of the commentating is live. Most of the show is post production. The live ones are the fulltilt sponsored ones (Turning Stone, Red Rock, Wynn)Webcast live-LATB Bart, Tuch, Bostin are decent announcers too.(Bart can become annoying and WAY TOO results oriented about a quarter of the time)

Night and day!!!This was one of the best shows next to the Haralabos & Chip Reese show.Very nice. The host & Belsky were quiet for the most part and let the guest do the talking, that's the way to go! Let the pro's have more talk time. Even in the Brunson show, Singer asked alot of good questions. The new guy has to stop the "uhh hum...mmm.... uhh hum" another tip would be probably do what "Rounders the poker show" do and go on a forum and ask poker fans what kinds of questions they would like to hear before the show.Basically comes to down to prep work and being organized. Good l

Nice! This is a great opportunity for Anthony.Hope he meets some other Asian pro's and polishes his look. J/K A nice little drinking session with John Phan & DN, and he'll be a rich poker player livin the life.kidding man. Congrats! -
Thanks. Yes, Borg has the hottest waitresses. Fo sure.Trop is also an option for me as the room rates for poker players seem pretty reasonable.

Main purpose (Save you some time if you don’t fell like reading): Seeking helpful suggestions on Atlantic City card rooms. Where to play? Poker room rates? How to go there from New York?I’ll be visiting some relatives for two weeks early January in New York. Last year I went to Foxwoods for a day and Atlantic City for three during the visit. This time around I want to plan better. Stay in NY for a couple days and bus it to AC and stay for 3-4 before going back to NY. Some advice on Atlantic City poker rooms will be greatly appreciated. I do not plan to go to Foxwoods again as the rake i

Good for him. The rich get richer! The article says that the online site in catering to only UK I hope Canadians are OK too. This could be the start of something huge. He was the first to have flagship casino in Macau that wasn't Stanley Ho owned. He is now the first to venture into online gambling before Wynn, MGM Mirage & likes....Once UK starts regulating it and make a killing off it. The US would be hardpressed no to follow suit. A big juicy pie waiting for someone to eat it. How can the US gov not do the same. Too much money at stake and MONEY TALKS!

Live Poker At The Redrock Ft Last Night

No doubt Gordon was wealthy and a millionaire before the poker boom but I just don't think he is as rich as you may think. As a poker player he does promote himself well and takes on a ton of projects. Very few have made more money than him off the felt. (Pro poker players) I haven't checked amazon nor researched sales figure but his books and DVD do sell well. I'd be curious to know how many HOH copies have been sold since that is the #1 book on poker strategy.Given his draft number in the PPL, pro's don't really respect his game that much it seems. -
Sounds like fun. Ask him to flash one of his cards. lol.GL
