  1. I'm not playing this week, so I'll have to wait until next week to win.I'm betting that scottrude will make another final table. People love giving chips to this guy. He also doesn't mind taking them. good luck all.and remember....The more players that register early, the more players will decide to play.
  2. Colorado Poker sucks...but it's what we have. $2-$5 spread limit game where the bets don't increase at the turn or river is a completly different game than 2-4 lhe. Many of those old men have pot odds to go to the river. Then again, sometimes they don't and it's +ev.I'm driving 5 hours to play this thurs-sun. at Fortune Valley. I may see you there J.In 2-4 a raise pre-flop is not respected much. A lot of players at this level aren't thinking about what you are raising with, but what they are calling with. You still have to raise with premium hands for value. As you know, you see a lot
  3. Ok, so you broke the rule about not raising with the Krablar into a raised pot pre-flop. The poker gods love you anyway. Here is what's so sick. You got running kings. The Krablar came through once again. I assume you said Krablar when you turned over your cards. This is a key that unlocks the Krablar's power.
  4. out in 4thI had to gamble with qjos vs. 88.I wouldn't have gotten there, but i sucked out twice in a row on dna4ever.See you all next week.
  5. My big slick beat down his junky KJ :-)oops, what i ment to say is that the villian has a lousy kj and made a crying call.lol
  6. I don't see how you play it any differently. Other than showing strength pre-flop, which you covered already. The best you can hope for here is QJh, or possibly AJh. I see this quite a bit in the NL games I play. The villian is on a flush or str8 draw out of position and weak/lead bets. What is sneeky is that someone with trips or even 2 pair may play it the same way, begging for action instead of protecting there hand against a flush or st8 draw.
  7. Even if you have 100, or 1000 hand histories on this player and a decent read using gametime+, what stats would make you want to call the river bet?if the player is loose-loose/aggressive, your still beat.if the player is tight/passive your still beat....etc...I know it's party poker and a 1/2 limit game, but no reason to throw away one big bet even if your getting 12/1 on your $. The sick thing is that CO has kqh, and you won the pot.right? right? If CO doesn't have kqh, then it wasn't me in this hand and i'm still going to wonder how i got called with ace high.
  8. I think there is a min, transfer on full tilt. I think it's $5, would you want to exchange $5 to me on stars for full tilt $?
  9. coolagain, I hope you will play in tonights FCP open on Pstars.it may be way under your bankroll to play, but it's fun and bragging rights can be worth more than the $.
  10. Here's another suggestion instead of just saying bump.If you know you are going to play in the FCP open tourney, then register early. The more players that register early, the more players will see that they should play. I didn't say that very well, but you all know what I mean....i hope.awww, whatever...bump
  11. I would like to suggest that the winner from the previous week put a $10 bounty on their own head. If they don't play the next week, then they should put up the bounty the next time they play. This would have to be voluntary, but I think it would be cool if everyone would agree.the above statement, IMO, was better than saying "bump" which is all I was going to say.
  12. this is it:Joined: 17 Nov 2003Posts: 7902Location: Pittsburgh, PA USA PostPosted: Fri Apr 01, 2005 6:02 pm Post subject: Reply with quoteI'll post this now because there are sure to be questions by the Stars users. Your Party users will know how to use the auto-import functionality already.***************************************From the Stars lobby window, click the Options menu and select "Instant Hand History Options".Check the "Save My Hand Histories" box and leave the default folder as c:program filespokerstarshandhistory (if this is your default folder where you installed Poker Stars)
  13. oops, missed your original question.you need to tell pstars you want instant hand history.it's under options on stars main screenthen you need to tell ptracker where to look for the fileseasiest way to do this would be to go to Pokertracker.com, look for pokerstars import and they do a step by step process.edit: give me a few minutes and i'll find the link for you.I hope your playing in the FCP tourney tonight at stars.
  14. I have been using it since Sunday.Beware....I now feel naked without it. I don't think you can run it during tournements because poker stars doesn't give you instant hand history for tourney's. I may be wrong.I am assuming: you have installed poker tracker and are familiar with it. you have downloaded and installed game time + if you are getting poker tracker to work with poker stars then game time should automatically work. open up ptracker, sit down at a table on stars, open the auto import hands on ptracker and force an impo
  15. You did good.I love folding jacks: before the flop, after the flop, on the turn, on the river.Usually, if i've gone to the river with them without getting all the money in the pot, I'm going broke because I'm priced in the pot. If I fold JJ, then I'm still in. If I go all in with JJ, then I'm the one betting, not calling. I've busted out a lot with JJ, and that's why I love to fold them.
  16. first of all, if you believe it's rigged, why would you be playing there.second, post this thread in online poker.third, the mention of party poker being rigged=flame, PERIOD.I posted a rant about why i hate party poker yesterday. Somehow I didn't get flamed. I think it was because I didn't say it was rigged. Also, I warned everyone that it was long and they probably shouldn't waste there time reading it.see link below:http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-foru...3853&highlight=
  17. Are you on Full tilt? We could do a transfer that way. :shock:What..what.DC should play in this. Dead money is always welcome.(sw) It's why you guys let me play.(no sw)Just saying he already got the money and he is already registered as HateTrigger so no need to keep offerring ideas for money transfers

  19. I guess I have to raise or fold here. I fold.bah...you stumped me.

  21. These are some rules that everyone should be told before being able to play at a home game. Some people haven't played in a Casino so these rules aren't always self apparent.rules,1. No dealer abuse. This one is tough in a home game, but there is a difference in talking a little smack and truly insulting the person who delt the cards.2. The floor person (person hosting the home game) ruling is final.3. Keep your voice down. No yelling. It can be exciting to win or lose a big all in pot, but dude, I have neighbors less than 1/4 mile away. 4. Never play with money you can't afford to lose.5
  22. same for me but in this order....derrr, smoke, drink and bathroom
  23. I've got a bike, you can ride it if you likeit's got a basket a bell that rings and things to make it look goodi'd give it to you if i couldbut i borrowed it
  24. Well the motivation is to keep the losing players to believing that they can win and keep coming back to lose more money. Thanks for your advice and I think i know the leak of my game and that is overplaying top pair or overplaying premium hands in short handed games in short handed games. What I did find about my game is that I do extremely well on SnG's. Should I just stick to those only and leave cash alone? If you do "extremely well" in sit n go's, then stick with it. The structure of Party's SnG's, from what I remember, are too quick. If you want to mainly play SnG's, then I would rec
