With an A on the turn, there is not much to protect against except a possible gutshot. I think, id check/call an A turn. I'm not sure how Id play the river, even a safe one. Check/call I suppose, but I'd be afraid of it checking through, I'd really love to bet a safe river if I caught an A on the turn, but getting raised would be horrible, because I would really want to see a showdown at that point.

That's why I'm thinking folding the flop is correct. I figure we have 3 outs (1.5 BDSD, and 1.5 for the A) what kind of odds do you need to peel here? If 15:1 is enough, then we peel. But what happens, if we pick up a gutshot on the turn, will we have the odds to draw to it? But im also not sure how to play the turn if we pick up a pair of A's, WA/WB? If we pick up a J on the turn, check/folding ok? Maybe Im just drawing this out too much, is peeling the flop correct here is my main question I guess.

I know a lot of players at this limit, peel about every flop. I bet the turn to protect A high, in case it was still good. So, I figured by calling the flop and turn, he either had a hand, or he had a draw. I am not beating many hands on that river, and he is going to fold a missed a draw to my bet, so I didnt see any value in a river bet.

I couldn't see him calling with anything I beat. Would you bet/fold it?

he didnt reraise himself. He straddled from the button, its basically like posting a blind, and raising from it.

as played, i definately bet that turn also.

I live in Orlando, FL - I go out like 3 times a week to the Suncruz casino, they have a 5/10 game on weekends, it averages about 6 to a flop, about 4 or 5 after a PF raise..During the weekdays, its a little tighter, but postflop is still horrendous. Downswings are killer though, lot of suckouts, but your hands really get paid off huge when your on.

No reads, I folded, but wasn't sure if it was profitable to pay it off or not. This was the first hand i'd seen him play besides blinds, in 2 orbits..so I gave him credit for a bigger hand.

I go as low as 77 usually, I thought it was standard to raise 7's up front. Where do you draw the line, 99? Ill start limping 7's and see how it works out for me, thanks.
