What about the one we lose by a small club calling our river bet? I dont think we will gain as much as we will lose here IMO.

good point. cards were horrible for me tonight, saw an edge that wasn't really there i guess.

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cxPreflop: Pancake is BB with [Qc], [Tc]. UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, 3 folds, CO calls, 2 folds, Pancake raises...Anyone like?

Bet/Fold is a great play when used properly. In this particular hand, I prefer a check/call, I think we may miss value when he checks behind a weaker hand, but I think we gain some by inducing a bluff. The problem is a flush is going to call here, bet/fold is only effective if he is going to call with a weaker hand often enough. A small flush is calling here. I like check/call here.

im not 100% on the math there either, but those are the figures I use.

I use the Bet the Pot format.

I dont play 10/20 so take my advice with a grain of salt. But what about a check/raise/fold? Thoughts on that?
-
i have the same problem with suited connectors, i play them way too much. They play well on real loose/passives preflop. You obviously want multiway action so I think its better to play in position with at least 3 or 4 limpers first.

Im sure he would have called the river, but I wouldnt overcall that spot either. Personally, I would raise the flop...or I might consider raising a safe turn card, and use my free showdown if possible.
-
I fold that flop, without any thought. Maybe im a little weak, since most of you are ok with the call there.
-
I never 3-bet the turn here. I tend to back off a little when flush's hit..Maybe I should get more aggressive in these type situations. I agree with check/calling this river.
-
I would love the results in this hand, UTG took a very strange line here.Played perfectly. River, I bet, and cry when I get c/r again.
-
oops, shoulda took out the final pot, lol.

Preflop: I prefer a 3-bet.Flop: LeadTurn: Bet/CallRiver: Check/Call or Bet/Fold

How do you guys play small PP's in EP?I tend to raise AA-99limp 77-88fold 22-66
-
Under what table conditions do you toss suited broadways UTG?
-
im still a timid tight-ass, VERY RARE do I ever CC. KQs in position with 2 or 3 already in, I might, but even then I usually 3-bet.
-
True, I forgot he only had $5. Meh, lol.
-
I don't like the 3-bet. I call down.
-
I'd either cap the flop, or raise the turn, before calling down.*read replies*Wow, im a retard. I didn't even notice the check/3-bet, I guess I just skimmed it and assumed, it was the original better that 3-bet. I play it the same.

You meant to say youd raise right?
