    Flight Instructor does not = Commercial Jetliner PilotCFI (Cert. Flight Instructor) can be obained in 60-70 hours I believeCommercial pilot is ...I think somewhere around 700 hours
    Flight Instructors don't make jack, and you need a part time job as well as the flight instructing to make ends meet.Actually in order to be a commercial pilot you only need 250 hours.However, you will never see an airline pilot with 250 hours. I have never seen an airline except anyone with under 1000 hours.
    $24k for a flight instructor seems a little low. My friend is a pilot who flies 737's and he earns around $90k a year.
    Flying a B737 and a Cessna 172 is a HUGE difference.

    Is anyone as curious as I am as to how much DN gambles on the course?Do you think the last match he was talkiong about in his blog was $1,000,000?...More?I think he should just freakin' tell us, because it's making it worse saying we don't even want to know.
