How Do We Get Villain All In
Crazy Cypriot replied to droberts's topic in No Limit Texas Hold'em Cash Games
bet about $2.5 if u want to get it in -
I like the way you played it. as played it must be fold on the river, unless villain bluffs often enough to make a bluff catch profitable

Nut Straight On 3 Spade Flop
Crazy Cypriot replied to droberts's topic in No Limit Texas Hold'em Cash Games
I think u have to bet/raise unless u get multi way action, or u get action from a very straightforward tight player -
hmmm, at first i thought yeah, why not just pot it....but i dont think we re really getting a good price , especially if he has any sort of draw as well . maybe fold is best?
-
its a frereoll it must be an easy call
-
Definitely a very different game - i do much better 6 handed

Another Boring Multi Table Question
Crazy Cypriot replied to Darth Maple's topic in General Strategy
I wouldnt move up. If u go on a bad swing, and maybe play a little bid bad because of it then half ur roll is gone. -

I dont believe that pushing is right, since it will be a big overraise, and you will risk too much for too little. However, pushing might be good, against players who like to call/defend their blinds. In the specific situation, the min raise reaaaally screams strenght, unless the player has shown to be extremely tricky in the past, so the fold is quite straitforward, even though frustrating. And after the hand, it s all in mode with ur 26k stack

A simple, straitforward play push - enough folding equity here and an "ok" hand if called. Definitely have to push

The way i see it his betting is half defensive and half value betting. My first thoughts was that he had some of weak drawless nine , or at least with not many draws and he was trying to avoid to play an all in pot.I just thought however that he said that he missed a bluff where he should have moved in, so i guess its probly it.But my first feel is a weakish nine
