  1. Happy Birthday Dave. My birthday wish for you is at least one hole in one this year.
  2. thats amazing. Nothing wrong with that either. We play desert golf in Vegas end of June in the middle of the day and it's bearable.
  3. Trump even deflected blame into His own press reps saying they didn't tell the truth because they didn't have the facts and then USED THAT AS A POTENTIAL REASON TO STOP HOLDING PRESS CONFERENCES!
  4. 2-1-2 is their pressure forecheck, which is a weak side flush forecheck from what I saw. Force the puck up the strong side and then lock ( F3 forward drops back withD and forms a 3 across to wall the blue line. When they don't pressure (ie the forward stands in front of the goalie and waits for the D to move the puck) they use that 1-3-1 It's weird, Boucher is totally trying to NOT get scored On. And it's working. Even in the offensive zone Ottawa often lined up a forward with the D on the blue line so there was 3 men REALLY high in the offensive zone. It. Is. super. Boring.
  5. thats awesome, you'll have to let me know how that is. I played Arizona golf years ago, but none of the great courses, would love to go back. Especially the stadium course, that will be awesome for you. Was it hard to book? For Scotland, we are working on the golf digest top 100 in the world. When we got married there in 2011, we played Carnoustie, Turnberry, Troon, and the Old Course at St. Andrews. This trip, we have Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart, North Berwick, and the Old Course again. Dornoch is the real prize. It's number 5 on the top 100, ahead of the old course (no. 7). This fall w
  6. lake Joe is my favourite muskoka course. It's not the best, but its my favourite. Muskoka Bay is the best course, rocky crest is the best golf challenge, The Rock is the hardest, but lake Joe is just special. Let me know when you're there, and if you have a spot I'll come and play with you.
  7. Guy Boucher has gone back to the trap he used in Tampa. Pitt wasn't ready for it, and honestly, Ottawa probably should have scored more but for a couple of posts and great saves. sullivan and tocchet are great strategic coaches. They'll figure it out.
  8. i have a golf trip booked for Scotland for august. I'm looking to play as much as possible before then. Club link offered Glen Abbey the other day for $89 cart included
  9. the bear was found shot in malvern with 392 bullets in it from 96 different guns.
  10. https://www.theplayerstribune.com/jake-guentzel-kesselmania-runs-wild/ The bit about fleury makes it even better
  11. 1,000,000 times yes. Nothing against Matt Murray, But there is no better guy or team player than fleury. Dealt with the trade rumours all year with a smile, except for the time he almost cried at the thought of leaving his team. Dealt w being a backup with class while still believing he's a starter. For christs sakes, the guy was so sure he was gone, that he had what he thought would be his last pens mask painted with current and former teammates as an homage. One of the absolute nicest guys you'll ever meet. Class class class. I want him to win the cup, and Even better (sorry Phil) if he wi
  12. the funny thing is, I think if Nash/Ana goes 7, Anaheim wins. Refs put their whistles away, playoff experience, etc...
  13. I'm in five hockey pools and I'm a lock to win 4 And a pretty heavy fave to win the 5th. I would like o thank the Nashville predators and Pittsburgh Penguins.
  14. 3 for 4 in second round, 9 for 12 overall Conference Nashville over Ana in 6 Pitt over Ottawa in 5

  16. zarnett did mine. He was leafs/Argos orthopaedic guy. Specialist in shoulders and knees. Did my shoulder and my knee. Both great jobs. I have heard of the shoulder clinic as well, good things.
  17. ill grab you one. I get 40% off at pens gear stores.
  18. how is the shoulder, Arp? What did you have done and who did it?
  19. yeah I was going by minutes in this series and eller was getting lots w the matchup. But yes.
  20. agreed 100%. Even when there's an option dee it's slight.
  21. rooting bias aside, I think that the pens are 50/50 tonight. Washington HAS carried the play for large portions. And that's because Pitt has yet to play anything close to their best game. They scraped by without letang, but Daley out (and he's not playing tonight despite questions that he may be) they have struggled in their own end and it's hurt their puck possssion time. That being said, they recognized, and addressed it pretty thoroughly at practice. If the change in game, planning is successful, they can definitely do some damage to Washington who also has an inferior d corp. Crosby and Mal
  22. basically you're betting a coin flip on tonight's game to win the conference, because I doubt Ottawa can handle them. Cup odds will be more relatable to how long each conference final goes.
