If you're just going to skate casually, go to a used sporting goods store and buy two pairs. Shouldn't cost you more than the price of that shock doctor brace. Used skates are broken in and more comfortable anyway. If you're not going to be slamming on the brakes at full speed, you don't need good skates anyway, and you'll get a much higher quality skate used than new.

theres still heavy fire. Trapped heat and big fuel loads made this a tough fire. We brought in a demolition excavator to tear open the roof so we could get at the fire better. This one will still be burning when the sun comes up. But we did some great work not to lose the whole block, especially with how tight the exposure buildings are.
