One other word of advice for the potential new students...I am sure it goes without saying but make sure you have the time to devote to the training. You'll get a lot more out of it if you have time to be included when the group is getting together. Sometimes it's short notice, other times it's later at night when the real talking gets going, so if you aren't up for that the training might not be for you.I learned a TON from training and continue to learn more each day that I can play. I did make a small appearance in the first episode of the 2007 WSOP....It has nothing to do with poker really. When they open the show in the first minute or so, when they show Humberto with his new Chark, in the lower left corner of the screen you see an individual in a wheelchair with a yellow Tommy Bahama shirt on. That's me waiting in line to enter event #3.I know, I know push back from the buffet a few times and eat salads. Next year I hope that I'll make my appearance on ESPN at a final table.

What is worse? A} a person that is just getting started in the game and taking down thier first MTT, being excited and starting a threador B} A wise azz that can't let him enjoy his moment. I heard some of these rumors out at the WSOP this year as well. The rumor I heard was that Harrah's was being purchased/divided. The Rio was going to be split off (since it's not on the strip) and sold but the WSOP brand would be retained by Harrah's and move to another of their properties (most likely Caesar's).That's the rumor I heard and that People that own the Palms were interested in the Rio proptery.
