I only checked out the first two hands but my thoughts.....Hand 1....You missed one bet on the river. You have to follow through with your aggression to the river here. If you C/R the turn, you MUST bet the river.Hand 2...the raise post flop was by all means a good one. Drive out the weak Ax's. You've got 8 outs (only 6 totally clean ones because of the flush draw) so I am thinking you have to raise it or lay it down.I had the same thing happen to me when I moved up to 3/6. This is not collusion. That's like saying that everyone is picking on the short stack and that's not allowed. When IN FACT Most people do try and steal blinds from the short stack. It's a simple fact, if you are the short stack you are in everyone's sites....you are in danger of elimination and all players are doing their best to make that happen. But collusion, not really.

This is one of the ONLY times I say anything to educate the fish. I tell them how now I will be working harder to remove them from their chips. It's not a good move and I don't know how anyone could argue that it is. With an all in player you MUST showdown, so if the hand didn't hit you hopefully it hit someone other than the all-in. The name of the game in tourneys is Elimination....and they just did something to 1) hurt ME and 2) hurt themselves. I'll just be working that much harder to elimate them sooner now than later.I won't educate that fish on much else....

The OP must have gone to the Mike Matasow school of poker....If you watch the WPT Aruba classic....It demonstrates Mikes "I knew it was comming" Technique....You have kj and you're oppenet has AA...flop comes Kxx....."You go all in because 'You KNOW that anothe K is comming"....works like a charm. And then when it does hit...needle the pocket AA by announcing "I knew it was comming".In all honesty...Horrible Lay down, don't ever lay down a hand when you are probably a 4-1 favorite.

You know, I never really liked Layne Flack...until tonight. I never really had a reason to dislike him, I just thought he played careless and foolish at times. But the WPT Aruba event made me appreciate his talent and professionalism. He made some great reads on his opponents and then when the suckouts hit...he just bit his lip and tried to push thru it. I look forward to watching more of Layne's work in the future....I have a ton of respect for him now.

I user Poker Tracker. I usually play on Party or Stars. Since Stars made their change recently, It's virtually seamless to import hands almost in realtime.....It's very nice!

Not a horrible split but I did go from High to low in the turn of a card....First hand of $10.00 SNG. I am in the big blind with A5 of spades. UTG limps, folded around to me in the BB, I check. Flop comes AA5. I decide now is a good time to slow play so I check. UTG goes all in....well I have to call....He turns over AJ. I am already counting my 2:1 chip lead on the field when the river brings a 5 and we chop the pot.Not the end of the world but I was not wanting to split that one up....

I had a similar experience. It was a 3 table SNG on party. Get down to the final table and one of the new people to my table announces "Don't play in pots against me unless you go all in". Well a couple people bet out and he goes all in...they fold. He says "I told you" and so I decide I've had enough and say "Oh really?" The very next hand I get pocket Q's. Thanks for the good post Randy. I tried in vain to point out this fact yesterday. But I am glad to see I wasn't alone. I went today to check-out the strategy section and the first post I read today....a relative newbie posted a hand and about halfway through the post he was again BLASTED for playing lame low limits. I felt for the guy. He did get some good advice from 3 or 4 people but he had to put up with the ridicule posts as well. It seems that if you aren't able to crush the upper limits you have no business posting or ever trying to compete with the elitest here.I like you started

REALLY? Fold on the river???? It costs you 1 big bet more to pick up 13.5. If you bet the turn, you've got to call the river other wise don't be the turn. But to lay it down at that point to me is pointless. Had the CO raised behind the MP1, I could understand the fold. I didn't have a chance to look at the rest of the hands and/or any other discussion but am I way off base? Develop that thought for me a bit more. Thanks.
