Gus lost the 4 mil on the way to visit Daniel in Rehab. Is Daniel out of Rehab yet? -
Ethics play a big part in all of poker. There are NO hard and fast rules in poker. There are generally accepted standards and each poker establishment (B&M or Online) have their set of standards but that doesn't mean all poker is the same. You say it's not illegal. I disagree. This statement from party poker's rules sections states it pretty clear to me: Zero Tolerance for Fraud and CollusionPlayers are only allowed one Account per player and our system performs random security checks and other log-file reviews to maintain system integrity and fairness at the tables. Any player found to

exactly. whats to prevent them? the answer is nothing. they arent breaking a rule. just because it irks you, does not make it illegal. I dont necessarily agree with what they are doing, but your analysis is garbage. I have been following in depth discussions on this topic on three forums and have yet to hear a solid, convincing argument as to whether this is cheating/unethical or not.Why is my analysis garbage? It's based in fact and isn't based on any unsound principals. Please enlighten me!Also It is in my mind UNETHICAL. Now whether it's against the rules is debateable. If it's ethical

I don't think it's right. I think they are cheating and it's pretty simple.Let's spin it a bit differently. Let's say we have a H.O.R.S.E tourny going on...what's to prevent them from teaming up and getting a specialist from each game to play only that portion of the tourney?....I know people would have trouble with that. I don't see that what they are doing is much different...Just my 2 cents...

You know you can turn that off

Just remember....Both hands on the keyboard at all times when you get like that

amazing isn't it.yup, and sadly there are a lot of 'em. the extent of ignorance in the US, especially central US is really quite amazing. people honestly believe this type of crap he is spewing from his mouth.Careful....don't lump all of us in the "Central US" remark...and I won't lump you into the "Way-out wacko's of the west coast" California has just as many hate groups as the Midwest. Bigotry isn't regional. It's just plain wrong though.you're right. there is definitely some shady stuff happening here in cali as well.i'm just generally scared of the middle states. myself being a jew

What does this mean exactly? Are you saying that because he's up he wouldn't (or shouldn't) go gamble or are you implying that if he has 40k to gamble with he'd already know how to do this?I agree with the later. If he had this much to gamble with...he'd know to ask the casino he was going to on how to handle this rather than some internet forum. Let's see I could ask a bunch of strangers that I don't even know and half of which are under the age of 20 how to handle my 40k OR I could ask a casino which regularly handles larger sums than this on a daily basis.....YOU MAKE THE CALL?????Thank

Ok, keep thinking that. When natural disaster hit, famin, disease the world looks one place and one place only for aide and money....the US. Even when we do, we get slammed for not doing more. We can't win, we develop the technology and you guys ride on our coat tails using it as your own and then you tell us we are the bad guys. You are protected by us and again you won't even lend a hand in redeveloping a country ravaged by a rutheless dictator for years. Really, burry you head in the sand further, you have so many reasons to thank the United States yet all you do is whine how you are s

We don't give a crap who devellops them, we get them cheaper, that's the point!I'm proud my country invests in health care more than in billion dollar wars.Actually that's not a true statement either. You aren't a world super power, you won't ever be. That's fine. Let's start comparing how much the US supports other countries with loans, technology, security and overall aid. We spend more doing that then your entire economy. It's not even close.

You can say what you want, the problem his, if daddy has a gun and the kid grows up seeing a gun, he will more likely use a gun than a Canadian or Swedish, or whatever other civilized country's kid who's never seen one. The American culture manufactures criminals. If they've never seen a gun, they wont be inticed to get one and start shooting people. Now that's funny. I am so glad that Canada and Sweden and all the other civilized country's have solved the crime problem. We'll have to start watching your news programs to see how peaceful life is everywhere else.I seriously invite you to wa

Harder, I wouldn't say that. It's more a math game and less of a game of chicken. In NL you are trying to see who blinks first (at least at the lower limits). People still chase in NL, it just costs them more when they lose.I like both games, my Limit game is much better than my NL game. I found Limit much easier to get a good handle on and not cost my a fortune in bankroll. Please send all those people that are chasing you with bottom pair to the river to my table....That's how I boost my bankroll!

The Cajun Cook Justin Wilson would order "Pop with Foam on Top" and he'd get a beer serverd to him.

Hope this isn't a double post cause my update didn't take the first time.....I would have gone allin or fold. Tough call but I would lean twords allin with a tight table image. But since you only raised. Now you have to call. Don't let them play back at you with this hand, tell them you've got a good hand and are ready to go all the way with it if they want to tangle with you. With only a raise, people might think they can play back at you to get you to fold....don't let them think that and go allin if you are ready to live or die with 99.Call and hope your 99 holds up.

I would still say cards speak. If you want to know what someone had, wait until after all cards are mucked and then ask.Yes cards speak. My point was that be careful when you ask. If the player misreads his hand but doesn't turn them face up....don't ask him to show. I have witnessed a player that lost a pot this way in Vegas. Player A shows top pair...Player B thought all he had was second pair. Player B says "darn, all I got is second pair" and is ready to muck. Player A said let me see...Player B turned his cards face up and showed a straight. The dealer corrected player B and said y

Well, in a house game it's house rules...so do as you choose. But in Vegas or most other cardrooms, it's Cards Speak. If you turn you cards face up and annouce a pair, the dealer would correct you and announce a straight. If you don't turn your cards face up, then you are on your own. Also, let's say that you had the 2 pair, and your buddy thought he had only one pair and was ready to muck. He says nice hand and is ready to muck but you ask, hey what did you have? and he turns them over....the hand is still live and he'd win the pot.

tables and chip counts can be found at :http://www.cardplayer.comClick on tournaments, schedule and results. Select the WPT 5 diamond Classic and then on yesterday's results. It has all people listed with chip counts and table/seat assignments.

Table and seat selections are done with an arm wrestling contest. It's all done the nite before so everyone can get a good rub down before the event starts.
