  1. I have a couple hundred hands on the villain. He's a solid player, with stats of 19%/7%/2.50. 2. I've been a silent reader so far, but I'm going to chime in now. PMC, your posts have done nothing to make me think that a raise is the right thing to do. All they've done is make my head hurt because they're hard to read. You talk about people just wanting to argue, and not listenting to good opinions, but everyone else is here actually trying to have a discussion, not argue. You are the only person in this entire thread who is guilty of what you are accusing everyone of doing.
  3. That makes absolutely no sense. If he calls you all 4 times in that situation, you win 3 BIG pots and lose 1 BIG pot. Where is all the talk of 3 small pots coming from? If he calls you, the pot is BIG every time.
  4. I thought about just calling because of the 56 possibility, but the checkraise on the flop made absolutely no sense to me with 56, even for an absolutely horrible player. I went ahead and pushed, and he called my almost instantly, so I was fully expecting a chop. Then he flipped over A2 for 2 pair. Go figure lol.

  7. Glad someone mentioned this. I wouldn't play this preflop, but if I did, and hit a dream hand like that, you're prying the cards from my cold dead hands.Shpaget: An UTG raiser probably has you dominated preflop, your best case is he's terrible and raising with 10-10, most likely you're drawing to a 3 outer. That's not the biggest problem though, the big problem is when you hit or A or J and still have the worst hand. It must be pointed out that he probably drew out huge either on the flop against AK or on the turn against an overpair. Most likely on the flop due to the action. As I stated, AJ i

  10. So, there was just some kind of weird server maintenance on stars, and I had just gotten back on and sat back down at my tables. 12. What is considered to be a good win rate in terms of BB/100 at the low limits, as in .10/.25 to .50/1?Also, does anyone have any stats on the average win rate using smash's push strategy?
  13. "Move In Pre Flop."Just out of curiosity, do you have any numbers on the average BB/100 that people win using your strategy? I might actually use it if I didn't think I could win more playing my game.
  14. What's the point of repeating what other people in the thread have already said about a part of the hand i wasn't even asking about? Betting 50 more cents preflop or 1.50 more on the flop are fine points to argue, but am I crazy to be asking for discussion about what I think is the most important part of the hand, which is the river in this case?

  17. At 50$ NL tables people will call with just about anything, and there was a small raise and a small reraise behind. In those situations I just like to push it and see what happens. It results in a call a lot more than you think.

  22. Just want to see if anyone else has anything to say.
  23. I agree that maybe I should have reraised the flop, but i wasn't really worried about any kind of drawing hand. I don't think he would have raised that much preflop with AQ suited, and I wanted to see what he did with the turn. Then again, I still made the wrong decision, and didn't fold like i wanted to, so it doesn't really matter.
  24. The hand is mine. I was about an inch from folding it, and used almost my entire timer on it. The thing i hated most about the hand was the oversized preflop raise. Usually at this limit that means AA or KK, but sometimes can be QQ or AK. I didn't have a great read on him, but he seemed pretty solid. At the time I didn't realize I also had the flush draw, so now I feel a little better about my call (yes I did call). I should have gone with my gut however, because he ended up having KK and, needless to say, I didn't hit.
