  1. Yeah your right, the fact that it was the first hand of a FT of a MTT for 2nd in chips and only two cards in the deck with one card to come isn't that brutal at all.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (8 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)SB (t1415)BB (t2810)UTG (t1135)UTG+1 (t520)MP1 (t1125)MP2 (t1575)CO (t3300)Hero (t1620)Preflop: Hero is Button with 8, 8. UTG raises to t150, 1 fold, MP1 raises to t1125, 2 folds, Hero???? I don't have the specific numbers but UTG hasn't raised light the entire tournament but MP1 is a wildcard and has a pretty wide range. I'm just wondering what the right move here would be? Fold or shovel?THanks.
  4. Oh I remember why....cause they play is SOOO BAD. Really, the play is really really bad from the start to the finish. They love to just shove with any two broadway cards and so you just sit and wait and they'll hand you their chips.
  5. I like your orginal read of 10's/9's maybe he has AQ/AK and as you said will fold to a turn bet. I think you go for value on all streets here. I think your ahead enough of the time to make that the right play.
  6. I think the fact that he did call you down with just two overs earlier makes it far more likely that he'd chase a flush or QJ no matter the bets or pot size. I think its pretty brutal that a 10 spiked the turn but I think QJ or a flush is pretty likely here to this type of player IMO. Fold then curse. Doesn't have to be in that order.
  7. Don't think your ever getting away from this. He's not flatting with 88 or 33 so he has to have exactly JJ to beat you and he did. Pots to big too fold IMO.
