  1. especially since its Gyea, not Chyeawhy not work, and play poker. ive got a job, as im sure most FCPers do, and i play poker in my spare time
  2. He'll be getting good odds on his call.It takes a pretty bad weak-tight player in the BB not to call most of the time. Unless there's some kind of bubble situation, if I'm the BB I call almost every time here.Of course I'm not often in this situation, trying to be first-in when I'm the shortstack.
  3. With the BB only having 3 bbs sitting in front of him I would never raise with 7 8. I think you're overestimating your fold equity. And clearly you don't have enough chips to be making fancy plays (as evidenced by the fact that you suddenly found yourself all in on the flop without wanting to be.)
  4. Doyle seems like a pretty cool guyBut comparing him to Ortiz is a little crazy
  5. Also just for good measure I fold this on 6th.

  10. Because drawing 3 to a J 8 would have an EV roughly equal to taking 50 $100 bills and lighting them on fire
  11. Also OP is the Judith Miller, and Mike Sexton is the Joe Wilson.
  12. I suggest you play on Casino.net, they don't seem to allow cashouts
  13. He does seem to me a little bit introvertedI think you would have to get to know him pretty well before he could be an effective teacher
  14. It's always strange when people post their main read ("I figured she had pocket Jacks or Queens.") and then do something which would be really dumb if that was really their read. You probably can't ever move this player off of jacks or queens on the turn, so why push if you're behind?I would be inclined to play this hand a little slower because you raised preflop, so your opponents won't be expecting you to make a straight. But if you want to play it quickly, get even more of your money in on the flop (when you are most likely to be ahead). The most important thing to get out of this hand is
