He'll be getting good odds on his call.It takes a pretty bad weak-tight player in the BB not to call most of the time. Unless there's some kind of bubble situation, if I'm the BB I call almost every time here.Of course I'm not often in this situation, trying to be first-in when I'm the shortstack.

With the BB only having 3 bbs sitting in front of him I would never raise with 7 8. I think you're overestimating your fold equity. And clearly you don't have enough chips to be making fancy plays (as evidenced by the fact that you suddenly found yourself all in on the flop without wanting to be.)

Something else to consider - the fact that seat 1 doesn't put in a bet with his low until 6th street make it slightly more likely that he has paired up on 4th or 5th.I fold this on 3rd, and failing that fold on 7th.

It's always strange when people post their main read ("I figured she had pocket Jacks or Queens.") and then do something which would be really dumb if that was really their read. You probably can't ever move this player off of jacks or queens on the turn, so why push if you're behind?I would be inclined to play this hand a little slower because you raised preflop, so your opponents won't be expecting you to make a straight.
