I guess I don't get why you would take it at all. It seems like a real pain in the ass to learn a new game ($10/$20 online at PS would pose new opponents, styles, etc.) over a LONG period of time. There are about five vocal (and by vocal, I mean typers) people over on that forum that have said they don't think you can do it. Naturally, they are real gunshy about actually ponying up. I'm hoping that one of the positive things that comes out of this season is that the producers will notice that great play garners the show more attention than great personalities. This is premature, but I'm guessing we've seen the best of this season already. Now we're going to see the gimmicky 72o bets, theatrics, etc. that casual fans like. I like to think of HSP as more advanced than that.

I'm not asking for a date change, but if for some reason it does get changed, I'd be in. That day is the day after my brother's wedding and, well, I will be way to hungover to plug in my computer, let alone play poker. good luck to those in.

Agreed. If nothing else, that is a well thought out response. I think sometimes his odd facial expressions and strange chip mechanics can throw the viewer off, but there's no doubt he's a thinking player.
