  5. I played in Live at the Bike 3 times. All 3 times were 300 to 500 buy-in No-Limit. Well, the poor play you see on the show reflects the play in the entire casino. There is so much money to be made at that place.
  6. A month after I first started playing poker, I took 2nd place in a $33 rebuy tourney on Stars, winning $3.5k, I lost it all the next day playing headsup matches. To this day, I still don't know what was more surprising, taking 2nd place when I really had no clue of what I was doing, or being stupid enough to lose it all playing $500 HU matches.

  8. Never play Black Jack to make money, it's impossible without a team and card counting.
  9. out in 2nd place. I didn't want to chop, i was only 2 double ups from being even in chips, i wanted to take the chance. Thanks for the support. I'll try again next time.
  10. It's a double shootout. Buy-in is $175. You start with 9 tables, winners of each table go to final table, winner of final table wins entry.
  11. 1st place:World Poker Tour event buy-in: $7,800+200 Accommodations and meals: $3000 - Seven nights at Atlantis Paradise Island, meal vouchers for two people. Spending/Travel expense: $1,000 credited to your PokerStars account
  12. The one time I played with him in a $200 NL game, he respected everybody at the table, didn't try to push anybody around even though I'm sure it was very low stakes for him.
  13. Yeah, I really wanted to win it all since I've never done it before (came in 2nd 3 times in MTTs), so I was willing to take chances by moving all-in to previous raises with middle pocket pairs. Both raisers have been trying to steal a lot pre-flop since they had the chips to affort to.
  14. Come to the rail if you got nothing better to do. Screen name is Amélie, I'm 4th in chips.
  15. I see him playing the 300-600 or 400-800 a lot at The Bicycle Casino. Some of the regulars of that game are Johnny Chan and Tim Pham.
  16. I don't think you should ever cash out so much that you'll have to move down in limits.
  17. I'm in, as usual in the Saturday ones, good luck. 5k at the 1st break.
