I just switched from a Blackberry Curve 8000 to an iPhone this Friday and so far have not had reception issues in LA. Maybe I'm not used to it yet but I find it a bit difficult to text on an iPhone compared to my Blackberry. The keys are small so I find myself using the delete button a lot because it keeps reading the letters around my intended letter. Other than this I love this phoneI have the Pearl and I like it a lot. Probably advanced quite a bit from when I got mine too. -
I can help if you still need the transfer. Can someone do a transfer of $200?I'm looking to transfer $200 from Stars to FTP. -
I hope you get another 2ndalright this is fine with me. bad luck to you sir -
How about if I get the same deal? So if neither one of us wins then it's a wash but if one of us does then it's $$$$$ for one and FML for the other?5th straight 2nd would suck! i just wanna bet with u on me winning though. so lets say 20 people reg, i get 20/1 for $5 that i win. u accept? -
$20 sent for LL. GL all!$20 for a last longer sound right ?Ship to Big_M (Scarborough) if you want in. -
LL or that you'll get a 5th straight 2nd place? In for LL but I have a feeling that there will be quite a bit of ties...seacucumber.... we on for a $5 bet? how ever many people in the tourney/1 that i win? -
Since we probably won't get 81 and even if we do there would likely be chopped pots when 9 tables all go all-in, how about also creating a couple private 9-max SNGs to find out the answer for sure?LMAO!Awesome... But if someone splits a pot it'll throw the experiment off.I'm in though. -
In. I am interested in finding out the answer to this as well. If the programmers did their job, I am guessing that it would be an 8-way tie for 2nd place and they would chop the prize pool less the 1st place mobnies. Also, I'm attempting to confuse Stars. What is the ruling when a nine handed final table, all with the same amount of chips, go all in at once? Who gets what place? -
Condolences Congrats!!
This was how we took the plunge as well but I didn't have as strong of a read as Matt had so I was nervous throughout the whole tripI guess you can't go to hawaii with your gf without the whole world thinking you're coming back engaged :)Mark -

Despite it possibly being a +EV spot (you mentioned in other posts that your edge is probably reduced by the fact that he is a gambler and that he's a decent player), depending on what matters to you, it could be a no-win situation for you to continue to play him because:A. If you win, you were expected to anyway and, based on how that thread turned out, you would likely be viewed by some as a "jackass" pro preying on a degen who was giving stakes to the FCP community, andB. If you lose, you would likely be criticized again on how you played bad or how you couldn't even beat a recreational gambler, etc.If neither of the above matters to you, go for it because like Teddy said, someone else will break him even if you don't.The thing is........I really have no clue how good he is just because of the nature of the match last night. He definitely isn't horrid. Playing against a gambler is always going to be high variance. So based on that, not sure it is worth keeping the drama going. I dunno. -
It appears that JC lost to Scott Seiver last night and is out of the tournament. GG JC :(Fluffdog's next opponent is Hoan Ly at 3 pm PST. GLGL!

Totally my bad... I blame it on trying to do updates while 5-tabling JC lost his match unfortunately. GL JC in your next match.Fluffdog and his next opponent (Anthony Guetti) have agreed to start their match earlier around 10:15 pm PST. This will be their final match of the evening.updated hand makes A LOT more sense!!!! thank you!! -
Sorry I had Fluffdog's hand incorrect (i typed his cards from a previous hand he had vs Montgomery when Fluffdog flopped TPTK + nut flush draw). Fixed now.

Phan was nice enough to move the match across the room to accomodate Mizrachi and both players got it all in on a coinflip. Phan held K-Q against Mizrachi's pocket eights and a Queen hit the flop. Mizrachi then moved over to focus on his final table and never saw the 8 hit the turn, sending Phan to the loser's bracket."
