  1. You don't need to suck up to me. Just drop a quarter on the floor in front of me, and when I bend down to pick it up, just stick it in. I've been around the block a few times though, so I probably won't feel a thing, don't take that the wrong way.
This made me LOL literally :club:
  2. I have the Pearl and I like it a lot. Probably advanced quite a bit from when I got mine too.
I just switched from a Blackberry Curve 8000 to an iPhone this Friday and so far have not had reception issues in LA. Maybe I'm not used to it yet but I find it a bit difficult to text on an iPhone compared to my Blackberry. The keys are small so I find myself using the delete button a lot because it keeps reading the letters around my intended letter. Other than this I love this phone :club:
  3. Also, I'm attempting to confuse Stars. What is the ruling when a nine handed final table, all with the same amount of chips, go all in at once? Who gets what place?
In. I am interested in finding out the answer to this as well. If the programmers did their job, I am guessing that it would be an 8-way tie for 2nd place and they would chop the prize pool less the 1st place mobnies.
  4. Condolences Congrats!!

I guess you can't go to hawaii with your gf without the whole world thinking you're coming back engaged :)Mark
This was how we took the plunge as well but I didn't have as strong of a read as Matt had so I was nervous throughout the whole trip :club:
  5. HOLY SH*T!LOL. I bought HEM like 2 months ago and have tried unsuccessfully to ever get it running. I even had a computer genius come over (twice!) and even he could not figure it out.W T F ? ? ?HEM tilt, lol.that, and F U VISTA! :club:
Scott I got HEM running on Vista. IM/PM me and let me see if I could help you out.

SB mega donk leads into me for 150. MP folds. I re-raise, we get it all in, blah blahTurn 6River 6He shows me K-6 boat winner. over a 1K pot.Good thing I wasn't armedgg 2 buy ins.
So brutal man. Hope you get them back!
  7. The thing is........I really have no clue how good he is just because of the nature of the match last night. He definitely isn't horrid. Playing against a gambler is always going to be high variance. So based on that, not sure it is worth keeping the drama going. I dunno.
Despite it possibly being a +EV spot (you mentioned in other posts that your edge is probably reduced by the fact that he is a gambler and that he's a decent player), depending on what matters to you, it could be a no-win situation for you to continue to play him because:A. If you win, you were expected to anyway and, based on how that thread turned out, you would likely be viewed by some as a "jackass" pro preying on a degen who was giving stakes to the FCP community, andB. If you lose, you would likely be criticized again on how you played bad or how you couldn't even beat a recreational gambler, etc.If neither of the above matters to you, go for it because like Teddy said, someone else will break him even if you don't.
  8. Phan was nice enough to move the match across the room to accomodate Mizrachi and both players got it all in on a coinflip. Phan held K-Q against Mizrachi's pocket eights and a Queen hit the flop. Mizrachi then moved over to focus on his final table and never saw the 8 hit the turn, sending Phan to the loser's bracket."
