  7. As Dan said, Justin was definitely running the show at the FT once he got his chips back. Despite falling one card short of getting the chiplead with 300k heading into the FT, Justin never gave up and battled back from as little as 14~15k with 8 players left. He knocked out at least 4 players from the FT, including established tournament pros David Fox and Motoyuki Mabuchi (who was probably most well known for getting knocked out of last year's WSOP Main Event with quad aces against a royal flush). Great showing Justin and GL in the HU tournament tomorrow! :club::5c:ts:3h:4h

Frank......It was also a great pleasure meeting you as well. It was cool to meet another FCP'er and "talk some poker"
It was nice meeting you too Dan (and Melissa) and railing Fluffdog together. Enjoy the rest of your stay!
Frank, I'm so jealous you got to rail fluff for the entire final table!free shrimp head miso soup for you! and eeeeeeel
I am gonna have to take up on this offer of yours when we meet next time... eat the head! Talk to your friend and move out to LA already imo :qh
  8. Is thepokerdb legal to use on ftp or ps?
I think this is OK as long as it doesn't include hand histories that you didn't participate in like Table Ratings:http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/prohibited_programs.phpOne of my new year's resolutions was to start playing cash game again. Took over a month into 2009 for me to finally get started. I haven't played many hands but here is my first ever graph for the challenge thread. All hands were played at 6-max $50 NL. Hopefully this is a start in the right direction with better results to follow.1stGraph.jpg
  9. According to court records, the person associated with that address is a friend of Phelps and a professional poker player. He was charged with marijuana possession on Saturday.
On Jim Rome's radio show yesterday, there were reports from those at the party that Phelps was involved in a "high-stakes" beer pong game in which he took out a roll of bills totaling about $2k which he then lost. This prompted Jim to ask what kind of college students carry $2k cash around and he concluded that they had to be (1) trust fund kids, (2) drug dealers or (3) bookies. I was thinking that he left out professional poker players in college so this report makes sense. Phelps apparently is a huge poker fan and also played and cashed in a circuit event at Caesar last year IIRC.
WIS-TV also reported that the owner of the bong tried to sell the item on eBay for about $100,000.
I wonder if this auction provided the info that the police needed to track down the owner and those arrested :club:
  10. Is anyone experiencing problems with HHs on FTP? I noticed that since a couple of weeks ago my HHs would be deleted on a daily basis even though I have not changed any of my options. As before, I have the "Save MY Hand Histories" box checked with 99999999 as the number of days to keep the HHs. I am using Vista btw (sigh I know BBFIDTS).Thanks for your responses on the check option for FTP. I requested mine yesterday and will let you guys know when I receive it. Matt, that's ridiculous and I hope you get your transfer soon. It shouldn't be this difficult.

  11. I did something productive with my life for once today...I got a PVR :club:
Very nice :ts I used to have a working TiVo... now it's run out of space because it's filled with 90+ episodes of Ninja Warrior! (that show is really addicting!)A quick question for those of you who have recently requested checks from FTP, how long is it taking these days to receive them?
