  1. I feel like taking a shot at answering this question based on my personal experience. My first year in 2001, I made about $2,000. My second year I made $9,000. My third year I made $18,000. My fourth year in 2004, I made $37,500. My fifth year in 2005, I made about $30,000 so far.99% of my games were limit holdem. I started out at the $1/2 or the $2/4 tables 10-handed. They didn't have anything lower back then. Back then, paradise poker was the site to play. Then I came to party poker because they had a lot of bonuses. I was there when they had only 900 players. It is a nice problem to have.Pupsta... playing at 10/20 is not easy if you don't know what you're doing. allinbluff35... about 2-tabling I am not so sure. 6-handed is a totally different game than 10-handed. Basicly the point of this post is that I am so freaking bored of poker. I've been winning about $3k/month playing 40 hours a month. I've done this consistently for the last 24 months. I have a fulltime job and I am not addicted to poker but just addicted to its money. I find I put too much time (2 hours a night after the 9 to 5 job) into this thing and neglected other areas of my life. I find poker b
  5. why do people pigeonhole problem gamblers as losing players? the best problem gambler and he admits it is phil ivey. i saw his interview snippet for the wsop omaha tourney which he won by the way. he was saying he loves high stakes gambling. he is just happy he has found a game that he could beat. he said he has lost 400k to 500k in a session. he said if you worry about the money while you're playing instead of being in the moment and concentrating on the game, you're going to lose. that said phil ivey imo is the best player in the world. he has a gambling problem but he is the best st
