A decade. I can still remember where I was when I wrote the original Hideout post. The infamous "+1" thread had just been deleted and a few of us were looking for a new home. I can't believe I remember my password. I would love it if some of the old gang would come back around for an update. Probably wishful thinking.... Welcome to The Hideout.

9 1/2 years! We definitely have to get the old gang back together for the 10 year anniversary!

Damn - this thread is 8 1/2 years old - my baby is growing up! When I think of all that has happened in the last eight years....

Always love stopping by.... The posts have been getting a little surreal. Nooses? Really?

I have been away from the forum for far too long - just found this thread.I live and die with the Bruins.Watching Game 7 and having multiple heart failure right now.

I always play more Poker in the summer, as it is a slow time for my business. I am thinking of hitting up Lockpoker or Carbonpoker - they seem to be the safest options at this point.

I am out of the loop. It took me four days to find out about the DOJ craziness.I was actually thinking about starting to play Poker again. Guess not.

It's gone now, but the "Up Your Post Count" (UYPC or the +1 Thread) from 2005 was epic. It was a precursor to The Hideout and never should have been deleted.

5 years (and change) since The Hideout began. Time to reflect...SINCE THE HIDEOUT BEGAN, I.......have moved five times...lived in Vegas from October 2007 to January 2008...worked in three different jobs before starting my own business in 2007...got fired from one of those jobs for spending too much time on a certain poker site (LOL THIS ONE)...have lost at least $1500 or more on PokerStars, and a few hundred on UB...bought a new car, which I have now owned for 3 1/2 years...lost a good portion of my hair...have gained considerable weight...fought with an addiction...had my brother go missing

Ironically, the above post was made 5 years to the day after The Hideout was created.Long live my baby!

RSM, your signature referee is epic. Reminds me of the old days around here.

Sorry for the bump, just thought I toss out that SpadeClub is history. Adios.

In the last few months, I have played quite a bit more online poker than usual. Gets my mind off work, I guess. I am going to do something that is never done in The Hideout.... talk about Poker! I need to vent...I have actually been playing quite a bit online lately, mostly tournaments. Always Micro buy-ins. I cash here and there, but final tables are few and far between.Anyway, I follow myself on PokerDB because I have no life (other than my job) and I had actually nailed 3 cashes in a row in MTTs, something I had never done before. Alas, I thought, what would be better than FOUR cashes in a row!So I jump into a $3.30 NL Hold em Tournament with a decent guarantee. Starts with 2500 players and 266

I hadn't played a Neg-O in years and was glad to make the final table. Unfortunately, there are three things in this world that are guaranteed: Death, Taxes, and I am a terrible Stud player.

On a different subject, I've never been a huge Soccer fan, but I am kind of sad the World Cup is ending. It has been a blast to watch.
