  1. No. Was this site (FCP).Also, last two hands are from 400NL, when I moved up to chase my losses. Worked in the past, didn't work tonight.
  2. While it isn't a lot in terms of buy-in, I lost $500 tonight playing NL200 (1/2 blinds), which was my worst loss ever in poker, and was above my normal stakes. Some hands that make me want to quit poker, or at least cash games:My Cards- :card_clubs_10:Board- :card_clubs_3:Other player has- . $400 pot.My Cards- :card_clubs_6:Board: :card_clubs_j:Other player has- $450 pot.I should of folded this on on the river, but they enticed me to call with a 40% pot bet.My Cards- Board- :club: They had: $150 pot.All-in pre-flop hands:Kings vs. A-Q, A on turn. $150 pot.And the best hand o
  3. Seeing as you are "FCP's resident Irish guy," why the **** is the flag in your avatar not the flag or Ireland?Ireland: Italy:

  5. Call turn. I'm not folding 2P and flush draw here.
  6. Why no re-raise pre-flop? You said he's a LAG, so he doesn't have a big hand pre-flop most of the time. (A's, K's or A-K)
  7. You re-raise sucks so much. You are not getting the other players to fold, and J-10 isn't a hand with showdown value. Just spew. You got lucky to win the pot.
  8. I hate committing about half my stack with J-10, even against a player on tilt. I feel it's way to much risk and look at the oods vs. a random hand with J-10s:Can't copy from PokerStove (anyone know how), Js-10s against a random hand only has 57.528% equity, while any random two cards has 42.472% equity. In other words, you have a 57.5% chance of winning the pot and having over 2000 chips. On the other hand, you will lose 42.4% of the time and be left with 690 chips with 25/50 blinds in a Turbo SNG.Is an EV+ situation, but is not one I would take becuase I feel the risk outweights the rewards,

  10. HU, if I have the 2nd nuts, I like to get as much $ in the pot as possible by the end of the hand, assuming nothing has changed that can make my hand inferior (4th club, board pairs). Here is why I like to get my $ in:1. Only one hand that beats me, if they have it, it's a cooler that is beyond my control.2. By betting/raising, you would have a better understanding of what the other player has, and can better play the hand based upon your read of the situation with a raise rather than a call of a $2 bet into a $13 pot3. I don't want to see the board pair or another club to hit .4. If the other

  12. I don't like the turn shove when you have the straight and the nut flush draw. Other player is drawing dead, or very close to it (2 outs).I would check b/c they have to act first on the river. I also might make a very small turn bet ($35-$50) and hope they see this small bet as weakness and push over the top.
  13. Did you think of betting out on this flop with a smallish bet, say $60-$75?
  14. Just the highest average pot of the tables I collected data on at that time.If 5 pots are $50, $300, $15, $75, and $30, this would be an average pot size of $94.
  15. I have no experience at the $1/$2 and $2/$4 NL games at either sites, but I just got some data from both sites, and Full Tilt has on average, a large pot size, and more players to the flop, than PokerStars. All the following stats were collected at 8:30pm EST tonight, only took data from full 9-player $1/$2 and $2/$4 NL.Full Tilt$2/$4- 11 TablesAve. pot: $71Players to flop: 32%Highest pot: $105, lowest: $38Highest % flop: 45%, lowest: 23%$1/$2- 34 TablesAve. pot: $28Players to flop: 31%Highest pot: $46, lowest: $12Highest % flop: 49%, lowest: 21%PokerStars$2/$4- 10 TablesAve. pot: $57Players t
  16. Stein kicks my *** in 2 matches, filled with crazy river suckouts. GG.
  17. Me vs Stein tonight-11:3512:0012:30 (if needed)
  18. This is wrong, Roberts Rules is wrong on this as well. It is Bullshit that the aggressor on the river has to show first. This is wrong. It should be clockwise from the button, meaning SB shows first, then BB, EP, MP, LP, and finally the button. The "aggressor shows first" rules out the positional advange a player has. If it is HU between me and a player in the BB, they check, I bet, and the call, they should show first. They player in position has the right to see what they are called by. If I bet that river with a bluff, and I am called, I should not have to show my hand unless someone asks t
  19. If we do 4, I would like a less top-heavy structure, like this:1st: $3752nd: $2253rd-4th: $100If we did top six, we can keep the $375 and $225 for 1st and 2nd place and:3rd-4th: $755th-6th $25
  20. The Stein, please PM me about setting up our matches. Tried to send you a PM, but said your inbox was full. Here are the times I can play:Thursday- 9:30pm-12:30amFriday- 7pm-10pmSaturday: 10:30pm-1:00amLet me know what works best for you. And you will need to set up the matches that we agree on because I do not have 2000 FPP.Thanks.
  21. I prefer 6 places paid instead of 4 or 8. Everyone who made the 2nd round should pick their choice in the next 48 hours, and which ever one has the most we stick with.
  22. The 4 players who played in the elite 8 who lost their matches play a best of 3 series against another person. 2 winners of those HU mathes cashes for $25 each, other 2 lose.
  23. They have till Wed night, right? If you are worried, I would ask the players to list when their matches are, and if two people have not scheduled a time for matches, PM them Wed. to let them know.
