POTY. I'm ****ing rolling on the floor laughing my ****ing *** off.i changed it to a more 'politically correct' version as to not offend any jewish, coloured, homosexual, handicapped, amputated, disfigured or otherwise loser forum members we might have -
Thank you, sir. Good job. Everyone needs to join this.
-
Ya when I re-read it, something doesn't sound correct.I am now putting this as my quote -
I also know some Jewish people.I think that's pretty funny.
-
as am I. But I'll of course compensate if stars screws something up, which I doubt they will.dingexcept im confused if 2 people have the same hand -
Um, that's not JC's avatar, that's my avatar. JC's avatar is the one with the Mexicans on it cheering. My avatar is the Italian flag. I used to have the Mexicans as my avatar, now I have my country.I've told you before fool. When JC was at the WPT FT a bunch of us changed our avatar to his in support. Clearly a few of us haven't changed them back. -
I definitely spammed the -ament series in the Hideout in off-topic. I'm really looking for a big turnout.
-
What up Hideout? I'm never in here but I've decided to promote a little flip/skip/Jesse-ament barrage we are having tonight. The LinkPlease come out and be degenerate with us, we're looking for a big turnout!

I have absolutely no idea, that's why I'm interested in them so much.Worst case, if stars screws something up bc of it, I'll ship mobneys to the people who get screwed. That's only if stars decides something like the winner gets the whole prizepool which wouldn't be cool to everyone. We'll make it fair. I'm guessing the best hand will win the tourney, second best will get second, and third best will get third, but who knows?so in the jesseament...who gets 2nd and 3rd place moneees? -
alright, I just made 6 different -aments, including two of the all-new Jesse-aments. I have no idea how they're going to go but hopefully they work out.The final one is a bit of a stretch, it's a HORSE Jesse-ament. I'm interested in what happens if everyone caps every street on every hand until only one person is left lolol. I'm looking forward to that the most. The lineup is like this if I remember correctly, each match is 5 minutes apart bc then we don't have to wait forever.NLHE FlipamentNLHE SkipamentNLHE Jesse-amentNLO8 FlipamentNLO SkipamentHORSE Jesse-amentFigured we'd get a nice variation like this, and the earliest ones are the classic ones, with the new trial ones later. Once again, they're five minutes apart so get ready, they start at 12:55am Central Time, which is about 55 minutes from now. 5 dollars each.password for all is fcpfcp

Flipament-Heads up tournamentboth players all-in every hand until one wins all the chips.Skipament-Full table tournament.Only two players must be all-in every hand, no matter what. Not three players, not four, two and only two. If UTG decides to push and it folds all the way to the big blind, the big blind MUST call the all-in. Anyone at the table can choose to push if they wish, and any other player may choose to call, but there must be one pusher and one caller in every hand. This means that if it folds all the way to the small blind, the small blind MUST push and the big blind MUST call.If someone is left with fewer chips than is required to post the blind and that person is forced all-in when the blind gets to them, that person is treated as the all-in player and only one other person at the table may play the hand with them.Jesse-amentFull table tournament.Every person at the table pushes every hand until one person has it all.I am making a few of all of these right now, the password for all will be fcpfcpThey'll start in an hour or so and be 5 a piece. I'm making quite a few and I'll put the type of -ament it is in the lobby.

excellent. Monty Python ftw."Look, if he was dying, he wouldn't bother to blog 'aarggggh'. He'd just say it!""Well, that's what's blogged on the site!""Perhaps he was dictating." -
Wow. I missed this the first time through. This thread had more promise than most, too bad we didn't get any more good OP spoofs.Bump cause this is one of my favorite threads ever -
can someone please explain to me what they think when they sit down at an online blackjack table? knowingly taking a -ev edge goes against everything you learn in poker and i mean its not like its live where you're getting comped or getting drunk/enjoying the atmosphere, you're just sitting in your room alone making -ev bets over and over again. i just don't get how anyone who refers to themselves as any kind of professional could ever sit down at an online blackjack table.

Thank you, you da man. GG yesterday.thepokerhaus used to be hosted one on of my high school buddies servers... this latest downtime was the last straw though, i bought a hosting package from one of the online sites and the site/forums should be back up in the next day or two and should stay up more or less permanently from now on. sorry it's been down for so long. -
He is correct about the ever-increasing homosexual population.Street fair every Thursday=the nuts.Correct about the wealth and 2nd/3rd homes. My house sits there 10 months a year and gets used by about five people in the family during a two-month span. We're in the older part of the city. Mostly older people, in fact almost all older people the last time I was there. Excellent fine dining and also the best burger joint in the entire world as far as I'm concerned (Tyler's).Please tell me you golf. It would be such a waste to not take advantage of that part of the town, it's pretty much the biggest attraction. We live in Canyon County Club, the northern part of the city.BG, We're probably right down Ramon (west) from you.PS is what we all call the entire Coachella Valley, it's really 9 cities in the whole valley, with about 300K total people spread out in no more than 60K per city. I would guesstiment that the population is 40% Hispanic, 10% gay, average age 45+. A ton of people own second or third homes here so we have alot of wealth here. The Rolls Royce dealership is the largest volume dealership in the country, if not the world.PS is the oldest, South PS is nicest, but the city is kind of lost in yesterdays. Great air musuem, water park, street fair every Thursday. 3 Cigar stores, I hang out at Tinderbox alot.Cathedral City was where all the gardeners lived for a while, but now it's more family style. Heavily hispanic areas, and some major gay areas. 1 cigar storeRancho Mirage is old money, but there are some nice areas with younger crowds. I live in Rancho Mirage, Mission Hills Country Club. Nice club. 1 nice cigar storePalm Desert is the real moving force in the desert, lots of nice homes, lots of shopping, city is well run. Best city overall for families. 1 Cigar storeIndian Wells is really rich. They tried to ban the sale of lottery tickets when they first came out cause you only win $1 million. True story. Lot of private banks, want a withdrawal, call them and thy come to your house with the cash. No cigar storesLa Quinta was a rat hole, but has made serious strides into becoming a player. There are some great country clubs, restaurants and housing developements there now. 1 bad cigar store.Indio is run down, anything east of Indo is farming. No cigar storesDesert Hot Springs was the largest manufacturer of meth in the country for a while, they are trying to clean it up, but they are not doing a very good job, stay away. No cigar storesObviously the MLS listings are the best place to look, but if you find a house that looks good I'll tell you about the area. Google desert MLSI've lived here for 25 years now.I have a buddy that is selling a house for me, I'm sure if you get more serious he can help. He smokes cigars. What do you do for a living? -
It was a joke implying that I wasn't aware that something other than the internet existed.Meaning we have no way of knowing how much he/anyone is winning or losing in live cash games. -
One word: Rebuys.lolI dont play on FTP but im pretty sure its impossible to play 26k worth of tourneys in one day -
I had a bad day. Down 500. :(lol

You in Palm Springs? Very nice, my family has a house there. Probably one of the more amazing places in the country to live.AASnake, I would highly recommend Palm Springs. Hopefully you're a golfer (golf capitol of the U.S.). There's a reason some of the world's most famous (Bob Hope, Sinatra, Harry Caray) called it home at least three months a year. Don't know too much about the schools, but the environment couldn't be better and you wouldn't be around the stress of the big cities unless you jumped in the car for awhile. For weather and scenery, California is the best.Southern Cal is the best place in the country.Palm Springs is still relatively affordable..nice houses start about $400K, private schools are still best though. $5K a year-$12K a year(5 indian casinos within 20 miles all spread poker) Vegas is 3.5 hour drive, beach 2 hours, mountains 1 hour. Tram ride 15 minutes to 10,000 feet. 3 months of hot,but dry, 9 months of blue skies and great weather. Over 110 Golf Courses!San Diego is the best weather anywhere, but you'll need more like $750K to live in a decent area. Sun comes out everyday at 11ish near the coast.LA has some nice areas, some rat holes. Others would know LA cities better than me. But traffic is bad everywhere in LA.Beach houses start at a million for the really run down ones. But we have Arnold, which is nice.I just got back from NY, stayed in mid town, loved it but why anyone lives there is beyond me. -
Huh?There is more to the world than the internet.
