    What Should I Do With A Pretty Good Poker Domain Name?

    if you choose to do something relating to updates/info/articles/tips/etc, anything that would need writing done, I have always wanted to have an article or column or decently large role in a poker site and I think I would be pretty good at it, as would probably several of the guys on this site.I think you should do something along those lines, or at least feature things like that (articles/tips/blogs/room reviews/opinions). If you do, I am seriously interested in playing some sort of role.

    Play for fun and work on your live reading skills. It will be a lot like play money and can skew your view of good poker, since most people are going to be horrible. Use their lack of skill as a way to enhance your reading of physical tells and hand reading. You won't be able to read their hands from their betting most likely, since there will be no rhyme or reason to it a lot of the time. Have fun more than anything, more than likely they won't take the game seriously, and if you do they will drive you crazy.

    I don't have a problem with not having seeds either. I mean, the guys at the NHUPC don't get ranked based on their finishes in prior years at the tourney, it's all random. Phil Ivey might end up with DN or he might end up with Don Cheadle, it's just the way the cookie crumbles, as someone else said.I would be cool with that, and maybe we should still do a points system and maybe have awards or a "tournament of champs" where the past winners play in one at the end of the year?

    It's only the Top 8 FWP, and I'm not trying to be the guy who 'gets' to make these decisions, I'm just trying to be the catalyst to keep things moving along. I feel that is the best way I can serve this tourney, sine I spend a lot of time on the forum and am easily accessible.I really no interest in who ends up where. (For me, stein and gilarenas for example in Round 1 would be a good thing. :club: But we want to make this a monthly competition that is smooth, fair, fun, brings out good competition in people, and is good for forum morale.)I've haven't seen you play, but I'm guessing you're up there somewhere.After three or four (I say four meself), we will have everyone seeded top to bottom.We need a point/seeding system for that too when we get there. Anybody?
    We do need a point system, I just don't know what it is going to be. Ideas people!

    Running bad? Someone call me? I'm here now, what do you want to know about my last ten days? It sucks, but deal with it, it is true that the way a player deals with his shitty days defines his ability.
