  1. It is possible that Kessler had a great read on him after watching his plethora of suckouts. If his regular play was even remotely close to what was shown on the show, I can see that call.
  2. Raymer is not a donkey, he's a LAG, but that doesnt make him bad. Lucky yes, donkey no. He was probably priced in to call on the turn there. He wasn't really priced in(only 3bb plus his turn bet in the pot). I think he just fell in love with that open-ended straight flush draw. IMOHow much did the guy have left when he moved in over the top. Raymer only needed 2 to 1 to make his call correct. As best I can tell the big blind was 25K(if the purples are 5K), so there would be 75k preflop and Raymer bet 50k on the turn. It looks to me like Bhutan had in the neighborhood of 400k. So Raymer would
  3. On a side note though, I am really impressed with the way Matusow is handling himself. Nice to see him focused and in control.

  5. I acn only hope to be half the donkey that Raymer was on that last hand.
  6. He's the world donkey champion. Also my hero.
  7. I'm beginning to think Diabolical might be Dutch Boyd with all the incoherent rambling.
  8. unceremonious bump in honor of my stupidityplus I'm bored and I can't sleep
  9. I retract the previous post as I was un wittingly regurgitating someone elses post.As a side note, would it be morbidly ironic if someone sat in this seat and refused to get up?http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051027/ap_on_...a_parks_buses_1
  10. I will go one step further in this character study. I would do it, but to make myself feel better I would buy an office building and stock it with computers. I would then pay homeless people to play for me and give them a percentage of the winnings (I mean stealings). Maybe the karma of helping the bums would cancel out the stealing. Maybe, I don't know.
  11. I have to go with the against DN on this one. I don't think that it helped his game any to sit down with that much at a low limit table and nutbar it. He is supposedly getting ready for the upcoming tournament where all will start with the same amount of chips and the experienced players will not allow him to do this. How can this tactic possibly help his game?I just can't see sitting there and doing it over and over with that much money because eventually, even with a shitty hand, he will suck out and bust another player with his Q3os or some other nonsense. The truth is that he was running
  12. No tin foil hats while he's playing the online sit n gos? Even DN knows that tin foil is +EV.
  13. you should play it because the games AI will help make you a better player than the fish at the play money tables.
  14. I can't get the search to work, so I'll ask you guys. What would be a better measure for play at a $10 max no limit table with .05/.10 blinds, going by bb/100 or money won as a percentage of your buy in per time period?ThanksTim
  15. bumpi really need help on this one
  16. Forgive my lack of knowledge on the subject, but what is considered a good winning percentage if the flop is seen? I've just started keeping records of my play and I need a frame of reference.ThanksTim
  17. How long do you usually wait after cashing out before you redeposit for bonuses? Any help is appreciated. Party is the site if that matters any.thankstim
  18. you may be right, it just seems to me that he is more in control than I have seen him play in the past. I could be wrong, since I don't know him personaly.
  19. What could you possibly be basing this on? Your "feel"? :roll:You could call it a feel. Mainly it is from watching him on Poker Superstars 2. He has the character eccentricities that make him seem like a flake, but he has a genius mind to back it up. It is sorta like Paul Newman says on the Color Of Money can he turn it off and on, if he has learned to control it I think he is quite scarey. IMO
  20. Right now i'm not sure, but a year or so from now Huck Seed. I think he's about to get back to his old winning ways.
