My god! Sabathia and Carmona have a combined 12.68 ERA in the ALCS. How can that happen? Seriously. They are going to finish 1 and 3 in the Cy Young vote and they both laid an egg in the ALCS. I am pissed. Save me Westbrook.

Im sorry, but a 4 man rotation with Sabathia and Carmona in it is anything but weak.

I can see doing it when clinching a playoff berth (or division, one or the other). It's a long 6 month season. It's a grind and they deserve to party it up. But not again until they win the World Series. Although, I like to think about the two leagues as separate, so I can see when winning the pennant even though I would prefer not. But I agree, it's too much. Winning the Division Series is nice, but it isn't Champagne worthy.

well, to be fair, he didn't stand at home for four seconds with his arms in the air. But if he had, he would have certainly been thrown at and resulted in many people's death wishes. Personally I didn't really mind Manny's reaction since it is a walk-off in the playoffs. But the thing with Manny is he would have done that in a Spring Training game, or a father-son barbeque softball game.

I just want to add that the bugs would have almost certainly been more of a problem as a hitter than a pitcher. Joba just completely lost his composure and couldn't throw strikes. Joba gave up the run, not the bugs.
