I picked this up after feeling like LHE is the game I needed to work the most on in terms of the mixed games. Down to the final 2 tables SH at the USPC HOSE event I felt like my SH LHE game was exploited a bit by the better players like Reslock, Cernuto and some others. I do not play LHE unless it is in rotation in a mixed game or in a HORSE tourney but after seeing some of the comments here I felt like it might be a good investment to help my weakest game. They can now deal him at the trading deadline for an asset such as a draft pick. Under the current waiver system, if they were to claim him and another team was to also they would not be able to deal him at the deadline without some sort of resolution with the other team(s) that claimed him. They took the chance he would pass through and he did. Also as DM mentioned they ditched some unneeded players as well.Also, as a last resort Bobby Ryan can be sent to Iowa to clear room. Obviously Burke will look for other alternatives as Ryan has looked great in preseason.

agreed. Contrary to some articles I've read I highly doubt they would package Bobby Ryan in any trade to move Schnieder. They've invested way too much time and effort in his development without at least seeing him get his legitimate shot this season at the top 6. By all accounts he has come into camp in great condition and I believe scored 2 goals last night (granted against a Sharks team with no one playing and with Getz and Perry as linemates but I digress..) If anything they could always just put him in Iowa and pay him peanuts until everything gets resolved.

I would agree. I think they sorta need to stop signing weird stop gap free agents though and either go big and young or don't go at all. IMO.PS: I didn't watch many games this season, what is your assessment on Alex Gordon's progression?
