Then, he goes on to say how he kept on raising people all-in (putting them to a flip). He goes on to explain how great it was for those at the table to be able to play their $2k for a chance at his $150k, and how big of an advantage it was for them because HE was the one taking the big risk. Funny you say this Daniel, but as I pointed out on NWP, you made the complete opposite argument when you were on the OTHER end of the "stack" in your lame "tourist" post. The one where you so proudly claimed how great a guy you were by giving all the tourist at a 5/10 game a chance to flip their entire stack (trip money/mortgage money, etc) for a chance at your 150k stack. Funny, but back then you seemed to think that the short stacks were the one with the "big" advantage! Seems a bit hypocritical to me.So, what again were you trying to teach?

I think you're confused. The OP isn't talking about min raising when the blinds have increased. This can be a beneficial play with certain hands. He/she is talking about min raising when the blinds are $10/20/30, etc. It's ridiculous. Everyone limps, then someone in LP bumps it up 1BB. So dumb. It doesn't build the pot, it doesn't commit anyone, and no one is going to drop out. It's just annoying.

I was thinking the same thing while reading the blog.Especially when I hear stuff like:"He gave me no promises that the schedule would in fact change, but he did say that he is going to rip it apart if he had to."That just sounds like pillow talk to me.I'm not saying that he should promise to change the schedule. But, when someone is sounding too eager to please or too on my side about an issue, it makes me think they're just telling me what I want to hear.Hopefully this isn't the case, and things will improve.I seriously doubt they will change the '06 schedule, but maybe there's hope for next

I'm sorry, but I'm just not buying into Daniel's explanation. I understand all of his points, but it was still an a$$hole move. He says it's not an advantage, but that's not true. There are so many examples where he's putting the other players in a bad situation. If Daniel moves in for 100k, and you've doubled your 2k buy-in to 4k, and you have top pair, would you call? How about 2nd pair? What if you're first to bet, and Daniel is behind you? You can't force him out with a big bet. He's taking pots away from you when normally you could take them down. I can see how it could be a positive situ

Don't even pay any attention to the "regulars" around here that are giving you any crap. They're all hypocrite's anyway. Believe me, they're just as much if not more of "fanboys" then you! They just try to conceal it a little. Well.... until someone says something derogatory about Daniel, or until he writes a journal entry, then it's: "Oh gosh Danny, you're soooo right about how good it feels to get it in the a$$.
