  1. my bad beat is that my hard drive failed on friday. (for those of you keeping score, i thought my harddrive was broken earlier, but i was able to get it fixed). anyway, this means I lose about 3 months of poker tracker data, which includes my big 5/10 downswing. so i'll get to start from $0. guess i'll backup my database more regularly in the future, since i hate having incomplete records of my play.

  2. The reason i was interested in the auot-rate rules was that I'm unsure how to interpret the numbers at 6-max.
TAGs typically look like 24/18/2 or thereabouts . . . some are looser and have 30/20/1.75 numbersanyone with a VP$IP lower than 20 isn't playing enough hands (although they could just be running bad if it's a small sample)anyone with a VP$IP much higher than 30 is playing too many handsthe 40/12/4.5 you meanioned would be loose passive preflop and insanely aggressive postflop
  3. what happened in hand one again? The action looks screwy, i don't know what im supposed to get out of it.Yeah hand two is good, where would you play differently?
i fixed the action in the first hand. i think most streets in the second hand could go either way depending on the type of player i think villain is.
  4. i don't autorate for six max. if you do, you should customize the settings. but you should wait on that until you understand the different six max types. the main categories are TAGs, Loose-Passives, LAGs, and rocks, although the stats for each group vary widely.I have all my hands in one database. For PartyPoker, I have to click "treat all hands as 6-max" on the auto-import menu to get PAHUD to work right. This means you can't play full-ring and six-max at the same time, although that would be confusing anyway. If I want to put a lot of hands in, I'll play four tables. If I want a more relaxed session, or if I want to concentrate on my opponents, I'll play one or two tables. It definitely takes a while to get used to multitabling six max because hands take less time than in a full game. I'd recommend you work up the number of tables gradually or else you will feel rushed and make silly mistakes.

  5. Villain sits with $30 and posts in UTG, which leads me to believe he likes to gambool. 6. solid WTSD numbers vary between low and mid 30s. this is related to your VP$IP. Lower VP$IP should have hight WTSD. In any case, you should showdown some more hands. Your won $ at showdown is close to 50 despite your low WTSD, which happens when you run bad.

  8. i don't think it is that useful to calculate the oddsit's so rare that you just have to lose when it happensin limit, sometimes you can save a bet on the river after previous streets have been capped, but in NL you are just going to get stacked

  10. Pure genius. He figured out how to sell a $90 book, break it into three parts at thirty a pop.Super System sold originally for a hundred back in the 70's.
I think there's a fourth volume in the works. And I don't know anyone who has been dissapointed with the first two volumes.
