  5. i'm doing fine for june, considering that i'm probably playing less than 100 hands a day would be doing better if i hadn't lost that $1,000 pot in a live NL game
  6. good catch on the odds to draw to a set but i will still have 7 outs even when someone turns a set, so is think hands like 55 are still making a mistake calling the flop

  8. just buy NLHT&P already got mine in the mail yesterday and so far it's good
  9. bet/folding works against tricky opponents
  10. bonuses at first then winning + bonuses then winning + bonuses + rakeback
  11. i'm beating 10/20 for 37BB/100my goal is 40BB/100
  12. what's up? someone playing 100/200?
  13. yes, but you have to be able to beat the game soundly while multitabling. and you'll probably need rakeback if you don't like playing lots of tables.
  14. Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)Preflop: econ_tim is Button with Q, A. 1 fold, econ_tim raises, 1 fold, BB 3-bets, econ_tim calls.Flop: (6.40 SB) 6, 8, 3(2 players)BB bets, econ_tim calls.Turn: (4.20 BB) 8(2 players)BB bets, econ_tim calls.River: (6.20 BB) 4(2 players)BB bets, econ_tim calls.Final Pot: 8.20 BB villain seems solid enough to play back from the blinds with OK cardsany other lines you like to mix in for these situations
  15. 3-betting preflop is still good even if no one will fold. postflop you should raise one of the streets.
  16. at first i was worried about a c/r, but i think villain is check/calling most hands here, e.g. AT. maybe he will c/r Kx, but why wouldn't he do that on the turn? so i think the question boils down to assigning the villains calling range and seeing whether you beat <50% of it. i think it's a bet.
  17. Here's to hitting two-outers. For my next trick, I will win 100BB in 200 hands.
  18. betting the river may be better.
  19. is that don mattingly? i have been away too long.
  20. i don't see much value in a river bet unless UTG shows down too much
  21. nah. we just have to think that at least 1/8th of players would.
  22. Just having a little fun. Haven't read general in ages, so I'm probably missing lots of "very special episodes."
