actuary, sorry if you are dissapointed. i just wanted to make sure the strat posters were aware of the +$450 EV opportunity.
-
not sure if this has been posted here, but i wanted to give you guys a HU on this great promotion. you can guarantee yourself around $450 if you have about $1,600 online that you don't need for a couple weeks details: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat...e=0&fpart=1 i'm happy to field questions, as i placed my bets earlier today

even if all of their income is from tips, dealing 30 hands and hour with $1 tip per hand isn't horrible
-
jordan why would you tip $75?? i don't even understand wanting to tip $25 or $50.

here's a good session i played last week. it was one table from about 6a.m. to 7a.m. eastern time. who knew the games were good then? i especially like the ridiculous w$sd.
-
this is pretty bad. you slowplay the whole way and then don't put in a reraise on the end. why not bet/3-bet the flop and go from there?
-
i'm checking behind on the river unimproved

i am BB with KcQd folds to SB, who raises, i 3-bet, he caps, i call flop 6d 9c 6c he bets, i call turn 8c he bets, i raise, he calls river 6s he bets, i fold i think this is a good turn raise, but i think he might not fold as much since the pot is big. also, his range should be pretty good since he capped preflop.

back from foxwoods. ended up stuck mostly because i ran horribly during a long session of 5/10 limit hold'em with a kill. met dunkindonuts in a 4/8 O8 game. i also got staked and played a little 20/40 hold'em. the 20/40 table i was at played like a juicy 5/10 online game.

i recently opened an online Emigrant savings account so i could earn interest on part of my bankroll. their current rate is 5.15% APR, so it adds up.Am I the only person who keeps most of his bankroll off of poker sites? Think how much interest the sites are making off of lazy people. -
i don't know of any strategy guides, but you can't go wrong raising with high cardsi've always thought that should be a pretty terrible game, since perfect play is so easy. is there a strategy guide i can get my hands on, or just go with the "my card is higher" mentality. -
going to foxwoods this weekend -- plan to play the 5/10 kill o8b game mostly, maybe some other stuff if i run well also i've found what may be the best poker game on the internet: limit five card stud at paradise poker. this game is so easy to play nearly perfectly, yet almost everyone on the site is horrible. too bad they don't spread a game higher than $1/$2.

hit a bankroll milestone today gonna cash out $1k this is my first cash out since i started playing seriously

ran at 0.7BB/100 for 6,700 hands of short handed limit for about $600 in winnings. not what i was shooting for, but it's more fun than breaking even. somehow i'm up about $1,400 overall. guess rakeback and bonuses added up.

my ASB is around 35%, but if you are in full ring games you should probably steal more since people aren't as good at blind defense

i mainly play at a site that has both rakeback and fishy players, but i will also play at party and stars sometimes

I was wondering about the turn bet, but both players were a little loopy. Anyway, here are the results: PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)Preflop: Hero is CO with 9, 9. UTG raises, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets, Button calls, 1 fold, BB calls, UTG calls.Flop: (12.40 SB) A, 6, 7(4 players)BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, Button calls, BB folds, UTG calls.Turn: (7.70 BB) 8(3 players)UTG checks, Hero bets, Button calls, UTG raises, Hero calls, Button 3-bets, UTG caps, Hero calls, Button calls.River: (19.70 BB) 5(3 players)UTG checks, Hero bets, Button calls, UTG calls.Final Pot: 22.70 BBResults in below:UTG has 8d 8s (three of a kind, eights). Hero has 9h 9d (straight, nine high). Button has 5c 4c (straight, eight high). Outcome: Hero wins 22.70 BB.I don't think it would've mattered here, since button would've bet anyway, but I'd check the turn. UTG's flop call almost has to mean you're beat (the only way you're ahead is if he has a suited club K or Q, and even then you're probably behind button). -

sucks, but you should be able to get netteller money back to your bank account. and poker sites are usually pretty good about giving you a new password. you could also try taking the memory stick into computer support as the files may still be there.
