Again I think it all comes down to the kids. If they are ones who are getting into classroom discussion, thinking things through with their teachers and other students and are in general known to have strong arguments for their positions then i think the principal overreacted ... but if they were just doing this as a stunt BECAUSE it was cinco de mayo then I think it is justified.It is one thing to add to a discussion and show your support however you do, but it is another thing entirely to do it as a stunt that is meant to rile up someone else.

The real question is how often do these kids wear the american flag as part of their regular school attire. If they are known to wear this once or twice a week then I think the principal overreacted ... however if they did this ONLY because it was cinco de mayo then I think the principal acted correctly.

He is already selling something that is on a "prescription" to "those in need" so if someone got a prescription for Oxy and went to buy it legitimately from this dude then I can't see a problem. Right now there are sooooo many dispensaries all over CA and nobody is entirely sure what the law is. I'm sure there is somewhere in the law that would prevent this sort of behavior ... or maybe not. IF pot is made legal, or IF the feds took it off of their list, then I think it would make more sense to have a rite aid or whatever sell it.
