  1. Or perhaps the guy who consistently claims that he has absolutely NO regard for money isn't talking about his biggest money win at all. He could be referring to his biggest win ever, as winning against an elite field such as that of PS3. I didnt see the exact wording, so maybe I am off base, but I wouldn't be surprised if Mike wasn't talking about money at all.

  2. My friends play a single table tournament, usually 8 or 9 people every week, but it seems every time I go there they hand out different amounts of chips and change the blinds whenever they feel like it. Does anyone have any links for suggested single table tourney structures or does anyone have any suggestions for a structure and starting amounts. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  3. I feel like i should chime in...i know entirely too much about wrestling, the big 3, indy promotions, japan, mexico, just too much. My name here is a wrestling reference. If you really enjoy wrestling and not just big muscular guys that the wwe think "have the look" you should check out Ring of Honor. TNA has also been stepping it up lately, most often doing it by bringing in Ring of Honor's talent. Somoa Joe is by far the most entertaining wrestler out there today. AJ Styles is great, Christopher Daniels is awesome. Give TNA a chance when it comes to Spike TV...I dont think youll be disappointed, and if you have a chance to check out Ring of Honor do that as well. Also UFC is some of the most entertaining stuff out there right now, you can really get into if you start learning about the fighting styles, and submissions etc. Pride is great too but harder to get into with their decreased presence in the states. Wow...I am a nerd...I dont even watch wrestling much anymore but I still know all this stuff...and I play World of Warcraft too...can someone get me a date? Royal do you mind if I borrow Ron?
When does TNA come to Spike?Ultimate Fighter 2 comes on Spike tonight for the first episode. Last years was good and the fight between Forrest and Stephan was probably one of the best fights UFC has ever seen. This year they have heavyweights on it too. Should be a good show.
Coming sometime in the fall, not too sure when. They have a bad Saturday night time slot though. Maybe they will have reruns at better times.

  5. was "yippie Kay-yay motha f@cker" in it??or what about "Matrix.. you said you would kill me last"... "I lied"or even better for all those who can remember "He knows Ninja Gaiden""Gimmee Gimmee Gimmee Jimmy Woods! "
Mora Grissum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I think you also forgot one of the best lines of the movie, referring to Lucas' Powerglove, "It's so bad"
  6. Theyve added a new no limit game in addition to the 1-2 $100 max game. Its a 2-4 game where the buy in is $300 straight. Havent played in it yet but i hear its better than the 1-2. They've changed some rules also just so you're aware. If you have cash on the table behind your chips whether from a re-buy or from changing another player's money or whatever, it can only be in $100 bills. Nothing else will play. Also from what I hear the 2-4, 4-8, and 5-10 limit tables are all overrun.I wish they spread 2-7 single draw.

  7. OKay we all know about the big game and it just leaves me with a lot of questions. According to sources, Barry is a consistent winner in the big game, Jennifer is a consistent winner in the big game, Ivey is a consistent winner in the big game, both Brunsons are consistent winners in the big game...who the heck is losing?Edit: I forgot Chau .. That makes 6 players that are supposedly consistent winners.

  9. I am sure anyone who asked Howard would have gotten the same answer. I didnt try to start trouble, I posted it to promote discussion on the topic. I am sure people are curious what other pros think about Daniel's challenge. And I am sure Howard wouldnt have said "But don't tell Daniel!!" Both men have the healthy egos that every good poker play has. I am sure Daniel knew that Howard thought he had the edge in some games, and Im sure Howard know Daniel thinks he has the edge. This wasnt news, just promoting discussion. And i wasnt railbirding I was playing. On an unrelated note, I too am a foxwoods player. How often and what games do you sit in?

  10. He did say "I usually play $1000/2000 and higher" I guess its comes to taking his word, which i dont know why he would say something to play money players haha. He did play the texas banker and take 9 million from him in one game. I think youre letting your blind love for DN and the problems the two of them have had in the past get in the way of your rational thinking. Howard is a great player, why all the hate?
