yes they are in canada, i live in a city with one...they really are only called charity casinos because they are government owned...not privatleyso the money is distributeed up among the government

So Im in a home game tournament tonight. $30 buy in, 30 ppl. Although only 25 showed up. The players were all relatively new players and had little knowledge, so i felt good. 4 places paid with 1st recieving $330, which i really could use. 3000 in starting chips and blinds exactly as the main nl wsop structure.So anyways i was up and down until 3 hours in to the tournament sitting with 12 people left and this hand comes up.Im sitting utg with about 5,300 in chips. Not to good at this stage but enough to keep me in it. (blinds 100/200 25 ante).Im dealt the Jc Jh.I raise it to 500. 2 folds

Im looking for a few really good books on limit hold em. Of course ive heard of all the big name books. And ive read Supersystem, but of all these big name books, skalanskys and so on, what books do you find cover the best on limit ?I mean im primarily a limit player (5-10), (10-20), 2-3 times a week, and i normally only play no-limit in home tournaments and small casino tournamenrs.So i want to focus my reading on limit, rather then all these books that come out about tournaments and nolimt tournaments.Thanks,

This may be a dumb question to all the regulars. But im new to the forum and have only been on it for a few weeks and have noticed 10-7 offsuit in so much discussion. Especially the post about the t-shirts.Just wondering what the significance of this is ?is it a hand daniel one a major tournament wth or something ?

I just began to use Poker charts and have began to see its power, especially in money management, and to see how and where and when I play best.Does anyone else use these kind of softwares ?Also, Ive decided to only log live play, not online..IS POKERCHARTS WORTH THE ANNUAL FEE ? OR IS THE ONES JUST AS GOOD FOR FREE ?
