  1. This was a cash game, the money situation would not have really mattered at the end even if he thought the other guy had 300 in front of him all the money was going in on the turn or the river anyway. NOt like he was going to lay down a set there even he agreed to that. Tha main problem was that he lied about his hand, we had no offical dealer and no director so his word is all that we had to go by. You hit it on the head normally he would have turned his card up but since he had KK he didnt and that was B.S.
  2. The question was not if cash played or not, cause it did. We all had cash in front of us but we had it under our chips, he had his chips in front of him and the cash to the side next to him, i knew how much he did but I guess a guy from across the table might have not seen that the cahs was his. And for me saying what i said, it because he lied we couldnt look at the cards when it happened, but when he turned it over it was obvious that he lied. And as far as rules we were playing casino rules.
  3. O.k. Playing in a home game with these guys for the second time and I'm not involved in this hand. We are sitting on a round table playing 1-2 no limit. I'm in the big blind, as we're getting our second card the two guys sitting across of me start telling the guy sitting in the small blind that his card flashed and they saw the K of spades, they repeat this a couple of times at which point the guy says you are wrong, so we drop it. The pot gets raised to 10 dollars and the small blind calls. The flop comes K27 at which point the small blind bets out 15, the only other guy in the hand is one
  4. so anyone can be on it depending on what they are broadcasting that night? is there a big wait list to get on it?
  5. does anybody subscribe to it, i watched the preview thing and it did'nt look that bad. You guys know of any links for other casinos that we can view a live game?
  6. did it cost you when the Colts decided not to kick a field goal and went for it on fourth down with a minute left? It cost my buddies and I $900 total since we had the colts 2 and the bears 7 in our boxes. The best part was that I knew they were not going to kick the damn thing since I had Manning on my fantasy team and they always sat on the stupid ball in situations like that all season. I don't get the reasoning behind it, but like I said it was not a surprise.
  7. Just curious if anyone gets that rate here. I used to but they changed the way they do it and I don't qualify anymore. Looking for the 21st and 22nd of this month.
  8. back in 04 i went there for a friday night tourney, it was 100 back then maybe with one rebuy not sure. I ended up splitting first place with one other guy. To this day its still my biggest cash which was 10k. Have not been back in a while but seems like the new poker room is awesome and the cash games are juicy. Been playing a ton of omaha high online and my game had gotten a lot better, do they have a str8 up pot limit omaha high game?
  9. You guys have such big mouths here, but you know if you're playing and Antonio sits down at your table you would get up and leave or lose all your money to him. Ofcourse, this would never happen since Antonio does not play in the kitty game like you and I do. Here is a guy who went against his family which is not easy to do and made it big with nothing more then a few bucks in his pocket. So, if he's a donk, what does that make you? How many WSOP have you played in and what, you never pushed with KJos in your hand, PLEASE.
  10. after the first hand where you took the money out, did the other guys see you do it, cause its pretty much understood that all the money has to stay on the table. Was this a horse game or just omaha and holdem.
  11. These two are a joke. They are totally copying Stern. I listen to Stern everyday and for a while when they were on in the afternoon I listened to them as well and they absolutly geared their show like him and copied a few of his bits. Anyway, does anyone have a link to this latest thing.
  12. when its monday morning and I'm at home reading this.
  13. http://cardplayer.com/tournaments/photos/7004I wonder what bet he lost.
  14. All of these shows commentary are done after the fact, except where its live. You can figure this out when Farha and Greenstein went head to head with AA vs KK right before they went to commercial and AJ made a comment like you dont want to miss the last hand of the day, leading you to believe this was done afterwards, just one example.
  15. MM is playing pretty well. Somebody mentioned except for the hand against jesus, so lets see if you outplay a guy that has a better hand then you and you make him fold, that's consisderd a bad play?As far as the announcer, although he can be kinda annoying its better then silence. This week these guys are just not talking, the announcer has not spoken over the players once, he chimes in only there is dead silence which this is week is a lot. Lastly, shana, I would still show her the old in & out.
  16. This is not about him being a good player or not, it's about him feeling that he has to prove himself to every poker pro out there. I mean lets say it were you sitting at a table with a few guys one of whom was D.B. would he be the one you want to tangle with? NO.... The only reason would be that you are trying to prove yourself to everyone. In the long run this will cost him a lot of money. I was wishing he took a stab at that pot with 10 7 cause you know he would be called by Doyle. Noway Doyle lays down a set.
  17. good one...if your avatar didnt have me fixated i would come up with something funny in response but cant. Do you knowwww what time its on in ny.
  18. Are we forgetting Mike the mouth getting beat on the river with a str8 flush when he was holding quads. Take into affect that there was 3 nines on the floor on the turn and MIke bet it big. The guy called him with a flush draw and a gut shot str8 flush draw, horrible horrible call. On top of that this was not a tourney it was for a 80 thousand dollar pot. This was by far the worst beat i have ever seen.
