Don't forget the 'Glorious Rape' Not gonna lie, only looked over it BRIEFLY, but the whole topic kinda ticks me off. I pose this question to ANYONE. I haven't received a solid answer from it, so please let me know if I am wrong. I will definitly apologise if I am. Name two DIFFERENT democratic countries that have fought each other in a war. Yes, this excludes civil wars and internal ones as well. Not going to lie, I am tired of hearing of my brothers/sisters dying in the friggin Marine Times. The United States will never be right 100% of the time, but at least we have the friggin nutsac

No idea where to post it? This is kind of a stupid topic to post anywhere legit so I went to general. DON'T JUDGE ME! >

Was wondering if anyone wants to coach me at online SnGs and Cash Games (Low stakes). I am just having a hard time going from live play to online play. I am used to reading people compared to betting patterns and tendencies. My biggest flaw is identification on online. Granted, I am still up, but no where near where I want to be. I know I kinda need someone to break it down for me a little bit, so if anyone is interested in coaching a bit it would be much appreciated. Right now I have just been reading through the threads and such to kinda get some sort of formed idea.

Thank God For Dead Soldiers

As much as it sucks, that is the correct ruling by the SC. Trust me, I don't appreciate these people as much as the next logical person, but we can't restrict what they are saying in that sense. However, 48/50 states are passing laws against openly protesting to military funerals by restricting the distance they can protest. Also, people are standing up for what they think is right in the matter. Honestly, I think that they are causing people to unite under the United States and speak up against what they feel is wrong. It just makes my resolve and the resolve of others (probably) to serv -
If I tried explaining that to someone, most would not have a clue what I was talking about. But thats true, thanks for the heads up. Learn somthing new every day.

Ol' Boy looked like a family member just died.

You know, straight up, I would do that if this were about 5-10 years back. However, if I do somthing like that and win the fight, I can expect to go to court and be asked, "You are trained to kill people. Why did you decide to us excessive force on this guy?" blah blah blah. Thats how I was raised in the Marines. You had a problem with someone? You took your blouse (overshirt in english) and you brought it to the grass. First blood ends the fight or if someone gives. That was it. That doesn't transfer over very well to the civilian chapter of the world. I wanted to respond to the guy

Aright, I was playing at Lady Luck Casino in SD, CA. I walked in and went to the 2/3NL table with about 160 (wanted to start low and work up). I was playing fairly aggressivly, grinding up to about 340 in about an hour or so. Made a dumb call, and was labeled after that a fish. Kept getting referred to as 'the dumb white boy' at the table by some guys. Well, after that, I went on a decent tear and busted 2 out of the three guys. I will give you the hands and such for each of these situationsSB: J8HH2 calls, I am BB, raised to 12 (I had only been raising this amount today)called by bothFl

Daniel's $$$ >>>>> Your $$$He is giving general advice, not an assesment on a specific person. Also, kill the caps. Just read what he says, and if you don't agree with it, disreguard it. Please do not advise him how to contribute to a site primarily (like 99.999%) revolving around him. FYI.

Thanks! I was kinda thinking that I was being a bit more aggressive then I should be. So always buy in max? I didn't know about that rule. Went with the philosophy that less was more, but thanks. I will implement that . Like I said, any other criticism is good. I know that I have to be comfortable at the level, but I figured the only way to do that is to jump into it, I guess. If I jump and don't feel I am playing right, I suppose it would be better to move down and gradually get comfortable. Or I can do what I normally do and start with limit. Again, thank you very much for the advic -

Hey, I am trying the same think that Negreanu is trying just for kicks and giggles. I was wondering if I could get any constructive feedback on if I have set the progression limits right and such. I might have also messed up on the blinds, so I do apologise in advance. Any constructive criticism would be appreciated. You made the right play. Sucks, still. Tell the dealer you want a refund!

I would stare him down until his head exploded. But seriously, check would probably be the most adaquate play here. You don't have much information on him except that he has shown interest in the hand. Get a feel for what he is doing. I don't play that high stakes, so I don't really know. If any bet, I would keep it a consistent percentage of the pot, basically mocking the percentage of the last bet.

3 star admiral? Ask him if he wants to donate to the eric zelisko pokerstars foundation lol. Thats pretty cool. Must have been a very difficult climb for him to that rank, politics and all. Thats the one thing I am not a fan of once you hit SSgt. It's all about politics . Not a political type of person. I would rather get the job done and move on.

Yea, the Marine's paycheck is from the navy, but the navy is too cheap to give us anything worthwhile. Navy gives us grief for that, but ask who is senior in ceremonies and such. It involves flag placement. Also, thank your buddies for being the worlds best taxi service . Kidding. I have respect for anyone who is willing to stand up for the country. We just look great doing it.

When I was speaking on the Value bet, I was just referring to the amount, not the intention. Like I said, I am starting out in the little leagues of poker so I appreciate the criticism. Excuse me for asking, but what exactly is a C-bet or C-raise? -
Wow, didn't expect to get this big of a response, but great. If you are visiting SD, and you love italian food, I would HIGHLY suggest Little Italy's (down SD) Fellipes resteraunt. Forgive my spelling. My MOS is 6046: Maint Admin. Very boring job, but you can thank my wonderful mother who threatened my father with divorce if he let me sign up anywhere else lol. I am stationed in Miramar. I will definitly have to take a look at the home games stuff, so thanks for the invite. My info on PP is ezelisko if you guys wanna hit me up. Donations always appreciated . Thanks for introducing you

Seems like a fold would be the best thing to do in this situation. I kinda think you played the river wrong as well. Please correct me if you feel I am wrong. Here is why:1. Flop and Turn he bets out2. Both bets are value bets3. Checking the river seems suspicious with someone who just fired out 2 value bets4. You really only have Ks with a crappy kickerA check would have been appropriate, because it seems like he has a set. Value bet was probably to deter drawing hands. By you betting out on the river, he might think you are trying to make a move on a drawing hand or, whats worse, he mig -
I wonder if he was floating at the time of the call. I know some people who do stupid things while UTI.
