I want inI was away for a few days and we didnt have land line telephones, much less internet capabilities, in the cabin.I guess I can play the next one, but I too wish it wasnt determined by who just happened to be in general during a 15 hour period.I guess now I'll go search for the other thread you said that I have to sign up as an alternative.Great idea for a tourney. But maybe next time it can be thought through a little more and realize that not everyone who has been a member for a while, is on here every single day. Not whining, but 81 seems like a small number. I realize if it was more people it would take a lot longer. But maybe that is a good reason for the next time to change the format.My two cents

A little advise, if I may.............First off, KDawg, congrats on becoming a moderator. You don't have to apologize for wanting to be one. Many posters here tossed their hat in the ring and you were chosen. Don't be embarrassed about campaigning for it.8000 posts in 10 months proves your loyalty to Daniel's forum, if nothing else.As a moderator though, it is critical that you remain above the chaos. Making comments, as the ones above, just belittles what a moderator is here to do. I understand that it is on the job training, so to speak.But, telling people if they don't like it, leave or correcting yourself and saying you meant to say its a persons perogative if they wish to stay and post, is not what Daniel intended a moderator to be, in my humble opinion.Your passion for making the forum better is great, but as a moderator, you must be careful on how you deliver your message. Getting into arguements or telling people not to post if they don't like it would never be something Daniel intended his moderators would do if they wished to keep their positionJust try to stay above the criticism without it being a personal attack on yourself. Look at it as a work in progress.Whining about it isn't gonna change anything. If you don't like it, don't bother posting. I don't care if you don't like it, I also don't care if a few people don't like it. -

No, I don't want to come off as ungrateful for what he's doing because I'm not, and i'm not gonna reread his blog about the charter membership but I thought it mentioned he wanted to do something for his loyal posters and members of this site so he was doing the charter membership. I don't think this whole plan is the best way to go about rewarding old posters. If I'm wrong and he didn't say that, then my bad but I was just questioning the method. I think it's a cool idea and very generous on his part and I really have no problem with new posters at this site.

This word is so over used in online poker. Every time I read a player call another an idiot in chat, I label that person a sub-par player because a decent player doesn't tap the tank.
