I don't know what exact position they were in but with those stats they could be raising any weak ace, any lower-mid pair, or a pure blind steal since it's been folded around. You're getting 6 to 1, most likely 7-1 if the limper calls.

From the hand info I'm going to assume he was the BB, in which case he has decent odds to call one extra bet. As for the hand, betting out does not protect your top pair. The pot is already big with 4 guys calling the raise preflop and your bet would give 9-1 to everyone behind you. I would checkraise the flop and most definitely lead the turn, especially when that 8 hit. If someone raises me here though, I would consider folding. Check calling is probably the worst move here.

Only two hearts on the turn. I raised because I was quite sure the old guy didn't have a 10. So far he has bet all mid pair hands and raised all top pair hands on the flop. I've been pretty aggressive in late position so there is no reason for him to give me credit for an over pair and not bet his top pair on the flop. I felt he had a draw/overs and was testing my hand.

This was at the Trop on Saturday. It was one of the better 4/8 tables I've played at, since apparently half of them were higher limit players waiting for seats to open in the pink chip game. The hand is against a rather loose but pretty decent older gentleman (OG). I have JJ one off the button. 1 limper to me and I raise it. OG, who was BB calls and limper calls. Flop is 10 8 3, two hearts. Check to me and I bet, OG calls and limper folds. Turn is another 10. OG bets into me and I raise. He calls.River is A of hearts. OG leads again. I fold.

You can't use the other people's offers; I'm pretty sure they are account specific. I got the 30% to $100, which is a nice surprise since I pretty much only play Party nowadays to bonus hore. From what I hear they are also offering a bonus based on turning Party points accumulated during the month into cash, but it seems that all of them suck.

Lol, we used to have the crappy ass decks that came with my $4 ebay chipset. Absolute worst cards ever, you couldn't left one end up to look at your hole cards without bending them. Now we just use cards from AC casinos with the hole punched in the middle that somebody brought.

Winrate cannot be determined but you can get a pretty clear shot of a guy's style from just a couple of hundred hands. And in this case the general range looks okay. Of course, it depends on what game you are playing.

Poker is a social event....I don't know about the rest of you guys but I've met absolutely tons of people playingin games all over the campus. I don't really see it as a damper on the social life, unless you meant playing online all day long.

The play seems strange to me. If he had the trip aces it should have been a value bet, if he had a set turned boat it should have been a value bet. The all in is pretty suspicious.....so I would call.
