  1. I think you have to email Party support to close it. Never done it though, so not sure.
  2. Empire just announced the monthly reload of 100% up to $100, cleared at 10x. Considering the Party players are no longer there jaming pots, and I pretty much expect Empire to go belly up soon, is this even worth doing?
  3. This board seems like a perfect time to get all in with a pair as your check indicates you missed the flop....or have the boat/quads.
  4. Screech got to it before me. You might not have the best hand but a flush with clean overcards has great equity on this hand, and you should bet. Not only because you expect to win this a fair amount of the time, but also because if you expect someone else to raise, it knocks out overcard hands which might have your potential outs dominated.
  5. Well, maybe a couple thousand, more if u do backdoor.
  6. 36k extra a year and you can't go take a vacation or something? I wouldn't be worrying about any of the poker celebrity fame as of yet.
  7. This reminds me of the fact that I'm beating 2/4 but for the line of me cannot post a winning record at 0.5/1, which I only play when clearing a reload bonus. With all the months of bonuses combined I probably have close to 20k hands, but I think I'm a breakeven player at best at that level.
  8. Dealers make around 40-50k. I believe they make something like $4-5 an hour and the rest is all tips. Considering that most people tip $1-2 per pot at all limits, tips shape up to be about another $30/hr. An interesting thing I've heard from AC locals is that it is not unusual for dealers to be making more than the floor person. I was told that it was a promotion system and they want the floor people to be those who geniunely want to move up, and not just for the money.
  9. I'm still not clear if SB looked at his cards or not. If he has not, I think there is enough value in trying to keep him in the hand to try and just call, whereas two raises would certainly drive out even a relatively loose player.
  10. Sites like Empire, Eurobet, Intertops, etc.... They were affiliate sites which used the Party network so you played the same tables as Party. But that's all over now.
  11. Call. If he does have a 10 and no draws he is near drawing dead. Give SB some time to see how much he likes his hand.
  12. PP has the easiest reloads to clear by far. I would have suggested the Party skins as well but we know what a big can of worms that is now.
  13. If that's the truth... then it's sad.pokerstars has a ton of players despite not having rakeback or many bonuses so obviously they are doing something right. They have Raymer and Moneymaker making themselves look like clowns on TV every night. Investors need to dump Empire.....they have maybe 6k individual players and most of them are heading for the hills after what Party pulled. Buying Noble means almost nothing.
  14. I'm going to agree here. I did get stubborn and there was no way for me to lay down the loser if I did hit.
  15. I don't know what your game is like, but shorthanded requires a lot more attention than full ring. Are you sure multitabling isn't eating into your EV?
  16. On a rag board, maybe. But I am certainly not raising a flop with A high, no runner runner draws, and 6 outs which I'm certain are not clean. There's no fold equity here and I don't have enough outs to make this a good freecard play. I only called because of my position and the size of the pot. Thoughts? I'm normally a pretty aggressive player but I think almost all moves are borderline chipspew.
  17. I'm on button with AK, 4 limpers. I raise and blinds flold, limpers call. Flop: 467 two spades. I do not have a spade. First limper bets, 2 folds, 1 call, I call. Turn: Q of diamonds. Checked to me and I check. River: J of hearts. Checked to me and I....?
  18. Quite frankly, you don't post with J3o anywhere. Fold preflop.
  19. 200 is the most you've ever lost in a live game? You must have run pretty well then if you play 1/2 regularly.
  20. In most cases, yes. After you complete the promotion requirements there is a button you click. Afterwards they will contact the site and confirm. If everything is in order you get the points. Note this can take up to a week or more from when you finish. They also have a frequent flopper program, which I think is kind of like rakeback, but in PSO points.
  21. Nah, he had A7. I think we could have been friends.
  22. Party decided to pull a fast one and apparently cut off all of its affiliates. Now the skin players don't get the sit at the same table as Party Fish and all the rakeback players are ready to commit suicide. But on the brightside, I totally get sidebet action on the color of the flop at Party now.
  23. Clearing bonus at the 0.5/1 on Party. I limp in mid position with A 10 . Folded around to the blinds. SB folds. BB raises. I call. Heads up to the flop.Flop is 3 5 7 . He bets, I raise, he 3 bets, I cap. Turn is 10 . He checks, I bet, he check-raises, we cap it. River A . He checks, I bet, he calls. No more nutbar on river I guess.
  24. Are there that many people molesting thier junk at the online poker tables? I never realized this was such a popular anti-tilt method. Kind of makes me not want to play.
