  1. Looks like another overaggro poker thug wannabe to me. Although Tuan is supposed to be talented enough to catch Greenstein's eye, who advised him for a while.
  2. Unless the 2-5 NL game plays very large, I don't think time rate is worth it. I'm one of those tighty players who don't see a lot of flops, so I'd rather just pay my portion of the rake than a set amount.
  3. Phoney as heck. If your wife is lying in bed with cancer and you have not one but TWO little babies, you do not fly to Vegas and play the WSOP. I bet everyone in his family was disgusted with him until he started making the big payday, and now they're all supporters on the rail. Typical Asians.
  4. Stunned but not shocked. 1/2 players are terrible and I see irrational stuff all the time. KK gets limped regularly while A7 gets capped. Who knows why.
  5. What happened with that preview clip of Matesow and Shiek pushing each other? I want to see some fisticuffs. Btw I just caught up on last week's episode as well. That Williamson woman is the biggest donk I have ever seen. "I doubled up last time with this hand." And she made it further in the ME than I ever will.
  6. Most people do not play like Teneight or Spademan, most people do not have runs like that. This is why internet poker forums are bad. Everybody wants to be the guy who makes 50 into 5k in a day and it is the most retarded thing I have ever heard.Way to waste all your tuition and youth playing poker 60 hrs a week.
  7. I just came across the thread a couple of days ago, and found DERB fascinating as well. I think people who say his post flop play is perfect are wrong. There were numerous hand histories posted where his aggression and his overcalls were hideous, although it is the concensus that he is excellent at saving one extra bet on the river.Frankly, I do not believe he has found an alternative way to win, as 2+2ers have compared thier PT stats and he is a donator to a number of the respected regulars in the 30/60 game. Since he is losing to the more flexible players, he has to be absolutely destroying
  8. You lost once at 2/4 and won once at 10/20, that doesn't prove anything. Stop judging the quality of the game/your own skill based on shortterm events.
  9. I hate it because the software is slow and the tables look like crap. I also clearly my $200 deposit bonus and PSO bonus there. I hated it because it's absolutely full of weak tights who are there for rakeback/bonus whoring so the pots never actually build. Quite honestly if you want to clear the entire bonus I'd say play a bit higher. I made money, but it was a serious grind and not really worth the effort.
  10. Scotty doesn't sound like he has a lot of fashion sense.
  11. Every online player is 1) a big winner 2) a major tough guy3) smartest man in the universe who is also dating my mom
  12. Do you have a read on your opponent? This is a very ballsy call here against continued aggression. Even with a rather pot I'd fold this river.
  13. That flop didn't seem very sexy to me. It was more like a fat chick in a tube top who thinks she is sexy.
  14. New table, no reads. I post in BB. Get dealt 35o. 3 others limp and sb completes.Flop: 5 7 j rainbow. Sb checks, I check, checks all around.Turn: K (suit irrelevent). sb checks, I check, checks all around.River: 3 (no flush). sb checks, I bet, mp calls, one fold, button raises. I call.

  16. It's a homegame, so no need to get bent out of shape like that. I play in games all the time where there's half the table sweating your hand and what you should do, but those are the kind of games I goto and I know what to expect. If you hate that, then don't play in this particular game. But what you shouldn't do is get mad and try to change the environment of the room because you feel it's not serious enough.
  17. I'm doing my last year at my state university. About 7k tuition, pretty reasonable. If I decide to attend any reasonable law school on the east coast it will get bumped up to 20k+ per semester because it will have to be out of state. Man I can't wait to get in that kind of debt.
  18. Bb was tight enough to be one of those guys who limps KK with many others in the pot just so he can see a "safe" flop. I was sure he was not pushing a draw and had made a very solid hand on the flop. Hands he would cap with on the flop: KK, 1010, 99, k10, k9, 109, JQ. He would not do this with AK, but I'll throw a 5% chance of AA in there. I'm not beating the majority of those hands on the river, and would seriously consider folding if he bets into me. I only considered the check marginal because the BB did not seem like the type to check raise with rivered boat/quads.
  19. Mr. ivy League,17k is Ridiciulously expensive for ONE semester at College when were simply talking tuition...Mine was less than a 1/4 of that...course, in Texas we get very good in-state rates on tuition-P.Dear Americans,I pay 2.5k Cdn (2.2 US?) for my double degree!Sincerely,A tax loving CanadianI don't believe that he clarified whether that 17k included room and board or not. Most likely it does, which would make the figure very reasonable for a private, out of state college.
  20. Nobody plays well after losing 200 bb. I think Scott was just being nice to the guy when he should have told him he was likely on crazy monkey tilt and to never put that much BR on the table in one session again.
  21. If you are not winning, then don't tip. If the dealer is being surly, rude, or ignoring aspects of his job, then don't tip. Winning pots and not tipping a capable dealer makes you a douche. They are there to make a living, and you contributing AT MOST 1/4 of a bb once in a while will help make for a pleasant experience for you and everybody else. I think that's a small price to pay. I see some lonely old grinders gambling thier pension at the table, I can understand why they choose not to tip. But when I see young guys with an ipod, flashy designer clothing, and jewelry constantly stiffing th
  22. What about Absolute? The people there are rocks but the constant reload bonuses might make it worthwhile at 1/2 with rakeback.
